Red took 5 weeks to hit 2m in US sales. Speak Now took 6. Fearless took 7. Taylor Swift took 61. 1989 hit 2m in 3 weeks...
Thanks for the Taylor updates! She's doing so well.
Hopefully HDD will report good first day sales. The fan sites said only a few stores had the new album Monday & they quickly sold out. Most stores were waiting for today to release the FP album.
Yes, Tuesday is the normal day for new release. I don't understand concerning this point why the new MJ's album was available the Monday... :-? But, of course, the prediction of tomorrow will be very strong. But, without any doubt, not enough for overtake MJ predicted above 300k.
9. Jump Then Fall - Taylor Swift
11. Untouchable - Taylor Swift
13. The Other Side of the Door - Taylor Swift
14. SuperStar - Taylor Swift
18. Come In With the Rain - Taylor Swift
19. Forever & Always (Piano Version) - Taylor Swift
31. You Belong With Me - Taylor Swift

My local Walmart was selling the old Fearless along side the new Fearless Platinum. Are these being tracked separately?
Lots of TS-2006 for sale also, so it should move up on the BB200. I wonder what the highest ranking is for albums continuously on the BB200 for 158 weeks? Might have to check the historical records.

Yes, it's totally crazy : six songs in the Top 20 ! She's more strong than High School Musical !
Fearless gains another 8k on Number Ones - holding onto top 10 in last week before Fearless Platinum release

Seems that a lot of people are downloading the new songs separatly to not buy the previous tracks together with the album again.
With single or album ? For the singles impossible of course and for the album apparently impossible too with the +300k of Michael Jackson.
Sony has their PR machine putting out huge amounts of smoke, but let us wait to see the sales results.
You don't really think Taylor is that easy to outsell
Ah no I don't think that of course : it would be very stupid to believe that after two albums above 4 million copies sold ! But for HDD and Billboard, in their first articles on MJ's predictions, it seems clear it will be easily #1. But yes, wait and see because for her the release was only today.

she is the queen of american music nowadays, there's no doubt about it

I wish she re-record her Xmas eps plus few new songs. The fans are hungry for new songs. If all six songs can get to top 20, she will be compared to... The Beatles lol. Everything she touches turn platium
