            • Do Fearless Sales need more PR help? And how many songs did Taylor write for this movie after Director Garry Marshall went public with his songwriting appeal to Taylor last summer?

After filming retakes for the movie last week, Taylor Swift hits the "Center of the Heart" for more publicity in "Valentine's Day" movie advertising released this week - conveniently her name stands out in the film credits below

              http://www.empiremovies.com/2009/12/19/ ... nd-poster/

Also splashed across the internet this week is the rumor that Taylor will be asked to play the lead in a new Supergirl movie remake...Superman's Cousin Kara Zor-El from Krypton...I bet Kara is not only "Fearless" but a singer-songwriter in her spare time...

              • that's kind of odd that the oscar nominations got pushed back nearly 2 weeks for 2010 when the only time they usually get pushed back is when a new president is innaugruated and even when they used to be from late feburary to early mid april they were always either announced Janruary 20th or 22nd

I hope taylor Is at least one of the nominees for best original song

                • I think the movie studio chooses which songs to put forward for consideration, so the other song Taylor wrote for the movie 'Crazier' wasn't chosen

you're right - I forgot about that. So, Crazier may not qualify for an oscar since it was not written specifically for the movie (?)

"The Taylor Effect" was listed in the preliminary agenda in August, but I don't see it in the new detailed agenda unless it is the "Sponsored Panel" at 4 PM Feb 24th - so I suppose you will have to contact the conference organizers:

Taylor talks about the new album all the time - just like she talks about Taylor Lautner, she maintains the mystery.

I'm pretty sure Taylor has basically completed the 3rd album & it "could" be released anytime if Fearless sales had crashed - but with Fearless sales approaching last year's huge sales level, Taylor has backed off and is saying "maybe in 2010".

The marketing odds are poor that album #3 will top Fearless, so we'll have to wait until Fearless sales die down.
