I did some archive digging and gathered up sales and positions for 1989's first 53 weeks on the US Billboard 200, all of which were spent in the top ten; at the time, it was one of only five albums to achieve the feat of spending its first year in the top ten of the chart.

The way this album was a huge beast!

It will be very interesting to see Midnights total units after one year 5-5.5mln+ should be given. The tour will/should guarantee another multiple weeks in top 10 (until the US leg ends at least).
