a strong ahead on iTunes, honestly i was also expecting kinda higher sales for BTD but still No.1 on digital and easily Top 10 on H100
...also "Mine" should score a new peak on Hot Airplay

A week after opening at No. 2 on Digital Songs and No. 8 on the Hot 100 with "Speak Now," Swift claims her third chart-topper on the former list- all occurring this year- as "Back to December" debuts with 242,000 downloads. "December" starts as the Hot Shot Debut at No. 6 on the Hot 100, extending Swift's record for most top 10 debuts in the history of the chart to seven.

Her latest track is the third pre-release single from "Speak Now," which drops on Monday, Oct. 25. One more title, "Mean," was issued on Oct. 19, so expect another high Swift debut next week. Swift had previously topped Digital Songs with "Today Was a Fairytale" in February and "Mine" in August. She has yet to top the Hot 100, however, having peaked at No. 2 with "You Belong with Me" and "Today Was a Fairytale."

It's Swift's third #1 on this chart so far this year. "Today Was A Fairytale" debuted at #1 in January. "Mine" debuted at #1 in August.

Swift is the first artist to top the digital chart three times in 2010. Eminem, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Rihanna and will.i.am have each done it twice (combining lead and featured credits).

The last artist to land three #1 digital hits in a calendar year was Lady Gaga last year. "Mine" and "Back To December" will appear on Swift's Speak Now album, which will be released next week (and will chart in two weeks).


Another Swift song, "Mean," was released yesterday and will undoubtedly debut high on next week's chart. Could it become Swift's fourth #1 digital hit of 2010? Stay tuned."
