Hi, do you have WW sales estimation for her as well? The first page is very outdated, also I would like to understand how SPS can be added into WW sales I feel there always can be some inaccuracies in that here and there, I would really appreciate your knowledge on this Wayne! She definitely can be under top 10 females ww sellers I feel? Your input please.

                            • Taylor has 5 albums charting at the same time in Spain. I think it's the first and only female artist (national or international) to have achieved this and probably the only international soloist as well. I wish I could confirm this.

For the 00s colums yeah I think so (If I remember correctly, the resource might come from this post lmao). Not for 10s column though, they are from Billboard I think. And for the total column, they are collected from scattered Billboard news reports and I don't even remember how old these datas are so they might not be that accurate.

                                      • So "reputation" remains the last album to sell 1 million copies in the US in its first week, "Folklore" still has the highest opening week sales for an album this decade, Taylor still has the top 3 biggest first week sales for female albums in the past five years (reputation, Lover & Folklore) and "Red (Taylor's Version)" still has the biggest vinyl sales week of all time. The one and only music industry. She has no competition at this point.

And no, I don't want to discredit Adele at all, she's doing more than fine and her opening is still a huge success... but I'm even more impressed by how Folklore did now.

Well Taylor had 16 covers available over two formats which boosted her numbers a lot. Some stans were buying all 16.

                                                • 'Folklore' was the follow-up of an album that, for Taylor Swift's standards, didn't quite set the charts on fire, which is a difference to Adele releasing the follow-up of an diamond album. 'Lover' was her first album since her debut to only spent one week at No. 1 in the US. 'Folklore' profitted a lot from the surprise effect and the massive critical acclaim it received. It's her first album that's actually picked up by a more mature and elite listenership. 'Folklore' and 'Future Nostalgia', like no other albums released since, represent the dark ('Folklore') and light ('Future Nostalgia') sides of the current situation we are in.

It‘s still impressive nonetheless, and as posted above, Adele is coming from a huge seller, Taylor wasn‘t. Again, we don‘t have to discredit someone to praise someone else - all things considered, it is impressive how Folklore opened with the numbers it did.
