That's interesting. It looks that Folklore's sold only ~20k more than Evermore, which was released like 4 months later.

'Folklore' was released a few months earlier and charted longer than 'Evermore', but it spent quite a few of its overall charting weeks in the lower part of the chart, and 'Evermore' profitted from being released (and charting in the top 10) in December when sales are higher. Hence the relatively small gap between both.

Taylor Swift's albums keep selling so well in Ireland. Too bad there is no information regarding possible certifications available. I wish she did some kind of promo there and in that context got handed over a bunch of gold and platinum awards, so we'd know what's the current state.

"Lover" in the top 25 is even more crazier, considering it was released a year earlier than 'Folklore' (and considered as a flop for Taylor).

I'm honestly not sure there was a particular reason. The tour pre-sale has sent a lot of her albums back up US iTunes and contributed towards her entire back catalogue surging in streams, but that will affect the next chart and probably the one after that too.

Even Lover which is considered as an underperformance is heading for "half-diamond" status! I bet it will pass Speak Now original album at some point

To be fair I feel like the true underperformer of Taylor's career will be Evermore, considering it's so far behind all of her other albums and being outsold by most of them.
