In fact the song won the Grammy award for “Best Duo / Group Performance”. And it would have never been eligible for the “Best female pop vocal performance” category because it’s not a female song.
Her version has almost 700m of streams, the solo version is not even 100m. We can close the topic.

I am convinced that if it were someone who posted in P!Nk thread, then you wouldnt bother. Her song is also with a male singer. Face it, Xtina had a big hit in 2014. I love how Christina annoys you.

No one is questioning Say Something’s success but you’re saying it’ll be the biggest “female song” from that year but it is not a female song. It’s a group song between Xtina and AGBW. It’s a collaboration between male vocalists and Xtina.

In the same way Shallow by Gaga & Bradley is NOT a female song “Say Something” isn’t ... those type of songs are duo / duet / group songs not female songs.

And? In both cases, a woman is also the leader. I know you don't like this narrative, but you know

A little update, I wanted to see how many streams these songs will have on Friday because it's the best day of the week to stream. All singles + songs over 10k daily streams in color.

I'm shocked by COOB streams. A year ago it was in the range of 30-35k daily streams.
Candyman, FTM, SS, Beautiful, Hurt, all the singles from the debut soared from the way I study her streams.

Slay Something is coming to Dark Horse and Royals and will be 2013's most streamed female song in a while. 3rd decade of career? Why not.
What do you mean by this? Most of the songs are over 10k daily streams and they're not in color!

          Thanks anyway!

I mean... all the songs in color (in this case teal) are non-singles, just regular songs from the album.

But not the only leader. The song is a duet / group song. Maybe it is the biggest duet of the year or something? But certainly not among the female songs category.

The idea of chart analysis is making objective reasonable claims.

And I am objective. Gaga and Christna are women and whether you like it or not they have some of the most streaming female songs of the year.

And the fact that her peers in the third decade of their career do not have it and their fans always have to get into this topic to write something negative is another matter.

MrLeonix is correct, it’s not a Female song, it’s a duet. It’s streams are fantastic, bigger than any of her peers songs as a singular song but it’s not a Female song.

honestly who cares, if it’s a solo, duet or collab… a hit is a hit.

                      • - “Stripped” didn’t sell 13 million copies. According to Chartmasters it sold 9,5 million worldwide.

                        - The two different tours combined didn’t gross $100million and nowhere close to that.

                        - “Beautiful” is not even one of the Top 200 most streamed songs from the 2000s decade.

                            why r u always wrong ??? ...

in the early n mid 2000s Christina had the biggest tours of her peers ....

In support of 'Stripped,' Aguilera co-headlined the 'Justified/Stripped Tour' with Justin Timberlake. In just two months, the tour pulled in over $45 million in North America, and Aguilera's international continuation of it, 'The Stripped World Tour,' without Timberlake, grossed $75 million. Her 2007 'Back to Basics Tour' was yet another smash. It pulled in over $90 million, making it the most successful tour by a female artist that year.

                            75 mil without justin tour nd that gross 45 mil ... 75 + 45 ... 120 mil ..... do the math ...

stripped sold 13 mil pure album sales worldwide in 2015

'Beautiful' was a global smash for Aguilera back in 2002, and featured on her second studio album Stripped.

That record is the biggest of her career, going on to sell over 13 million copies worldwide.

nd beautiful has almost 200 mil streams on spotify that is massive for old song from 18 years ago ... you cant expect old songs to have billion streams .... unlike britney beyonce and many divas Christinas songs r not on many playlists ... so her streams r organic nd not inflated ..... and who said is not top 200 ???

Last warning. Relax and watch your tone and words.

Are you really using Pop Eater and Digital Spy as "reliable sources"?

No. Stripped has not sold 13 million copies worldwide.
Each and every reliable source (not Chartmasters) has it at 10 million max.

                              Regarding the tour.
Official Billboard boxscore for The Justified & Stripped Tour in North America:

                              $30,261,670 from 45 shows.

                              https://books.google.es/books?id=bA8...xscore&f=false

Not $45 million as that unreliable source you're posting says.

The Stripped Tour gross was below $20 million.
(In fact, as matheusbelmont posted a while ago here, is less than that:
"Stripped Tour made probably $14.5-14.8 million - $10.5-11 million in Europe ($5.5-6 million outside the UK and $4.5-4.7 million in the UK/IRE), $1 million in Asia and $3 million in Oceania.")

So, no, combined they're not even at 50 million, let alone 100.

I mean, the Stripped era was really successful and iconic per se, why do you always always feel the need to inflate her numbers like that and post fake info? Not needed.

Not true... if you add the ones on Wikipedia it's like $19 million...
32 million is the figure for 45 shows.
And it's official from Billboard. Look at the source I posted.

Where's the source for RCA saying it sold 12 million years ago? (Which, even if they claimed that, doesn't mean it's true).

And, please, charting at #756 on iTunes means 1 copy... it's not moving catalog sales thanks to iTunes.

                                    This is simply not true...

"Beautiful" is added to the biggest 2000's playlist on Spotify (All Out 00s). According to SpotOnTrack, it has a playlist reach of 18.1 million, with "Dirrty" not too far behind at 14.4 million. No playlist support where?

                                    • Stripped is the biggest era by a female foreign artist from 2000-2005 in UK. Happy Birthday, Stripped!

                                      Christina Aguilera - Stripped - 3,65m units
                                      Avril Lavigne - Let Go - 3,2m
                                      Kylie Minogue - Fever - 3,1m
                                      Beyonce - Dangerously in Love - 3m
Norah Jones - Come Away with Me - 2,8m
                                      Madonna - Music - 2,5m

The weight of the album is more important than the song in my opinion. But the album is and the singles were huge hits in the UK, so whatever. 7x platinum is coming! And in a few years it will be 2x platinum for Beautiful / Dirrty. During the 2018-19 period, Dirrty made around 75k over the course of a year.

I'm glad that on the streaming platform (which in 2020 is the most important measure of popularity), Xtina has 2 albums (also Burlesque: #278) on Apple Music in the UK. These 2 albums have been on the list for a long time. Good.

                                                  • I'm pretty sure Madonna outsold Christina overall in the UK that decade. She scored a whoping 5 #1 albums that decade. Christina only scored 1 and I know that Stripped was bigger than any of those. But Music (5x Platinum) + Confessions on a Dance Floor (4x Platinum) outsold Stripped (6x Platinum)+B2B (1x Platinum)+Keeps Gettin' Better (1x Platinum). And I am not even considering GHV2 (2x Platinum), American Life (1x Platinum), Hard Candy (1x Platinum) or Celebration (1x Platinum at the time, it is 2x Platinum now)
