i'm excited to get this. i love MAKE ME! i sure hope this gets promoted well. this has a real chance of sellign decently in Europe and especially Japan where they go crazy over greatest hits collections.

On a different note, i just reaalized that janet has topped the hot 100, r&b and dance charts with 4 songs namely: Miss you much, escapade, that's the way love goes and all for you. is this a significant feat? or have there been artists with more songs topping the 3 charts?

                        Definately getting this.

And I agree that it will respark interest in her career, and I'm hoping she will promote the hell out of this.

I know it's early to tell, but any sales predictions for this?

(I think it will do well worldwide, rather than just in the U.S.)

I'll say why...think about the only other artist that had a GH called Number Ones recently...exacly...

But then again, the single to promote this was all over her website the day after her VMA's performance...maybe that's a coincidence too

Dont take MJDangerous sarcastic questions too seriously cause it would be a waste of time

Janet had 10 Hot100 number ones so she has every right to call her compilation 'Number ones'

The first I can think of is Beyoncé

not quite the ONLY other Michael's was originally out in '03, then the Bee Gees had one in '04, Destiny's Child and Reba in '05, and ABBA in '06...

...and, in all fairness, Michael has had compilation albums with pretty much every title possible (Best, Greatest Hits, Essential, Number Ones, Ultimate, Anthology, etc.)

so unless she called it Design Of Almost 2.5 Decades, it'd be hard NOT to be "copying" Michael

If this video will be too raunchy this might be the very end of her career , this is not the right time!
And how can the video for 'Make me' be?

Ah yes ! But if the way of this best of is the same than the other, I am not very impatient to see a massive success of this compilation...

I think the video is going to be very predictible, but I will die to see old school new steps in a very catchy coreography, today female videos are too much butt shaking and no dancing so I guees this is the right time for Janet to show them how to do it once again, and even though Janet singles hasn´t been hits the coreograph were always brilliant All Nite and So Excited were cery Physical and SExxxxyyyy
But that's the way I like it baby I don't want to live forever
                                              and don't forget the joker

In the US maybe, since you don't even need high sales to place there, in the UK is very doubtful. her last albuns couldn't even make Top 60.
