    • Can somebody monitor her numbers over the weekend to see if the documentary had any impact

      • Moving into the 2000s...

Doesn't Really Matter SPS: 241,000 - Gold as a physical single.

All For You SPS: 895,000 - Eligible for a Gold digital single certification with the RIAA.

DRM sold 600k singles in 2000.

AFY sold ~300k singles in 2001 according to Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_fo...t_Jackson_song)

        • AFY scanned close to 500k. Also on the Billboard awards they did mention it became her "22nd gold single". At 2:00. It will probably be certified platinum as you know with all recertifications in Janet world... probably never.

                • Thank you thebigham for the updated stats. Im kinda hoping STCML gets enough SPS to go gold. I remember it's physical sales being less than 300k copies...

                  • Though I'm not a fan of BURNITUP! (feat. Missy Elliott) , maybe they should have focused on that song a bit more!

                    • Question, gold singles were awarded for sales of 1M prior to 1989 correct? So the gold singles of control sold 1M? Or were they certified when gold ol was downgraded to 500k?

Agreed. Should have been the 2nd single and not Damn Baby.

The Control singles were certified after the certification levels were lowered in 1989:

                            • Janet Jackson Unbreakable album singles should have 3 singles with videos

                              No Sleeep
                              BURNITUP!
                              Dammn Baby

Night should have definitely been a single I can't believe Night wasn't a single I so seen that song going #1 or top 10 on multiple charts especially the Broken Hearts Heal, Shoulda Known Better, Take Me Away almost the entire album songs was single worthy Unbreakable I feel is Janet biggest mis oppurtunity album ever cause she had control in how that album went with no one telling her how to promote it well it is what it is I don't think Janet was ready to return in 2015 at all though.

                                                • ^Thanks. I don't think you can combine 250k physical and 250k SPS to get a Gold cert.

It has to be 500k physical or 500k SPS for Gold.

Same with Platinum: Cannot be 300k physical and 700k SPS to get Platinum.
