And Janet Jackson team been saying forever they was working on having Janet videos be unblocked worldwide and nothing haven't happened yet only her janet. era videos was unblocked UMG/UME for some reason restraining the rest of Janet videos.
It’s damaging Janet’s legacy. Unless they were planning something to coincide with the documentary and they planned to release all her videos in HD or something then this is a waste of time! But as that’s been and gone then I dont get it.
Exactly new fans who trying to know who she is and get invested on her career and legacy can't even watch her videos to know how much Janet is a visual artist she doesn't even have 1 million subscribers on her YouTube account yet her videos being blocked are a huge reason why her sales figures are low it would be everything when she drops her documentary her videography is all available on her YouTube channel her videos being blocked I'm more concerned about she the only artist going through this problem.

I think the janet. remixed album would have been in contention for the top spot if it were widely distributed and available in all markets. She was at her commercial peak then. Sam with the Control remixes.
Unfortunately for whatever reason Janet Jackson is not credited as a feature on neither Diamonds or What's It Gonna Be so if those songs were ever to be updated they be in Herb Alpert and Busta Rhymes favor not Janet Jackson favor as they won't be added to her sales but of course those are basically Janet songs we will credit as if they count towards her sales.
I never understood why Let's Wait Awhile and Pleasure Principle is not listed in the RIAA database for being Gold nor them ever updating the song Control to a Platinum certification when Janet had a RIAA plaque for all 3 of those songs being certified which was shown when she had the auction so Janet missing 2 songs that was already certified and a song that should have been updated in the RIAA it maybe to late now since Let's Wait Awhile and Pleasure Principle are probably Platinum now.

What's It Gonna Be?! does credit 'featuring Janet'.

It just seems like her label has always dropped the ball. As I said a few pages back about "janet.", it was the #8 album of 1994, it's only cert was in April 1994 (11 months after it's release, almost 28 years ago!) AND the album was #170 of 1995. It's no shock that she received RIAA plaques that haven't been updated with the RIAA. Let's not talk about "Design of a Decade" lol a music club favorite!

It is baffling that a star a huge as Janet can have such lazy labels/management behind her for something as basic as keeping her certifications updated, or having her videos in youtube unblocked worldwide. Such a mess really.
