  • Her streams have improved. She could possibly have 3 songs over 100 million by next year. Got Til Its Gone will hit 70 million soon (her best video btw). One day, that song will hit 100 million.

    • Got Til Its Gone is over 400k SPS, had there been a video on VEVO it would probably be Gold already! SMH.

        • To answer few questions Janet scrapped the 20 Y.O. tour due to poor ticket sales by that time of the 20 Y.O. album Janet music was completely banned and she only had BET to fall back on and black radio due to no big music stations playing her music she didn't get the push some probably thought Janet vanish from making music but the 20 Y.O. tour tickets wasn't selling so she cancelled that tour and later signed to Island Records in 2007 and planned the Rockwitchu Tour.

The Discipline album is Gold but I don't think Island Records paying out money just to have that album certified especially since Janet and that label disagreed on everything regarding the Discipline album.

Would You Mind yeah I see that song now becoming a trend especially for those who are brand new to Janet music next we might see the song become viral on TikTok like That's The Way Love Goes did Would You Mind might be Gold before we know it.

There was never a tour announced for 20 Y.O. There was no such thing as poor ticket sales because it just never happened. Just an FYI.

I kinda wish her more classic material got that much attention. Like Would You Mind is only viral because, as I said, curiosity of how she got away with such a sexually explicit (for its time lol) track some 20 years before. But there are songs from her heyday (especially RN1814!) that deserve far more attention than it does and it's REALLY annoying me. The fact that her former labels and herself doesn't feel the urge to update her sales figures will never not be annoying. I've never seen a legendary pop star not care about making sure her sales legacy is better than it currently is (her stuck at 26 million RIAA album certifications and at around 13.5 RIAA singles is so weird). There's not an urge like there recently has been in Whitney's catalog present in Team Janet. Feedback is long for a RIAA certification. It WAS a hit, the possibly last hit of her career and...nothing. Discipline did fine considering how promotion for it went (and don't even get me started on that tour ). I'm glad her streams are picking up, but there should be more. I hope they don't wait until she passes to suddenly go "oh we need to update these certifications!"

Yeah I never heard of a tour coming. Honestly, a tour under that album would've been disastrous. I'm just not a fan of the album and how it was promoted. I get that her promotion was lacking but it seems she did that album quick to get out of her contract with them because after the Super Bowl, it seems they gave up on promoting the album? Not sure, it's been nearly 20 years and I haven't been deep into the goings in of Janet world since, like, 2008.

                          • It was never officially announced and tickets never went on sale. She always talked about a possible 20 Y.O. tour, but Janet has talked about many things that haven't happened. She's been telling fans that her previous tours will come out one day on DVD, they still haven't lol

How can a tour get cancelled for low ticket sales if it was never formally announced to begin with, let alone go on sale?

No one is trying to pick an argument. We are correcting the fact that you said the tour was cancelled because of low ticket sales.

No tour dates were ever announced. No tickets ever went on sale. So that's not possible. That's all.

We don’t need to watch it. We experienced the era firsthand and not a single ticket ever went on sale.

It’s been available for a while in some territories. Really hoping the remixes get added soon.

I never said she didn't say there wouldn't be a tour.

The tour still never officially got announced and once again tickets never went on sale. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand. You said the tour was canceled because of low tickets sales, all we are saying is that's not possible because there were NEVER any 20 Y.O. dates announced.

Probaby no higher than no.3. Elton John’s “Candle In The Wind” and Usher’s “You Make Me Wanna” dominated the top 2 positions for weeks.
