Hard to tell. I guess the rough estimate in Europe would be around 2 or 3 million and Asia almost 1 million and South Africa half a million but I have no idea. How much did the IFPI said she sold in Europe with that album?

The janet. album is Janet biggest album and era most likely due to her showing sex appeal and it was something new from her but she reached her peak everywhere with that album so that album without a doubt was going to be her best selling album of her discography.

That George Michael song features Lisa Stansfield & Queen, the title is Five Live (arguably shouldn't have been eligible to chart as it was an EP). I've never heard it, apparently it was a charity single. The Best Things In Life Are Free was also blocked from number 1 by Rhythm Is a Dancer - Snap (2 weeks).

As for Together Again that definitely deserved number 1, or Top 3 to say the least. Here it's aged well and played often on the radio (certainly considered her signature song).

Sorry that's right, here it was released as a single, but elsewhere an album. I don't know why this is but during the 90s & 2000s (unlike other countries), it was incredibly common for songs to debut in the Top 10. Therefore increased competition.

Take All For You for example, it debuted at number 3 and was almost pushed out of the Top 10 the week after, (even Emma Bunton's What Took You So Long fell from number 1 to 8 that same week). This was because there were 5 new entries in the Top 10 (4 in the Top 5) and all of which were by a separate artist. Pretty much unheard of in other countries during that time.

Janet definitely didn't reach her full potential in the UK.
