I think Janet has the most for back to back for a woman, I think she has 19 and Madonna has 18?

And yeah, technically the #1 "single" in the UK really was "That's the Way Love Goes".

Janet holds the all-time record for an artist of any gender, I believe, with 18 (I could be wrong, Drake for all we know could hold the record now but IDK, he released like a million singles!). Madonna is in second place with 17 (Madge still holds the record for most top five records with 16). Least as far as I know, that's what it is.

I did this on Whitney's thread but here's the artists in the top 5 for most consecutive top ten singles:

Well Elvis and the Beatles did have more BUT they don't hold the record of most consecutive top tens. But technically they did have more top tens:

Elvis: 33
The Beatles: 31

But they don't have Janet's record and it's beautiful because every time stans of other artists will tell you how artists have more top tens than this artist and you can always counter with "well do they hold a record for most consecutive top tens?"

That's what I meant sorry, that many people claim they had more consecutive Top 10 singles than Janet. I'm pretty sure they didn't lol. But correct me if I'm wrong.

It's ironic because people who claim The Beatles & Elvis Presley had more can't say the actual number. Neither are there are receipts to back this up.

I've also watched those chart history videos on Youtube and I'm still convinced nobody have more consecutive Top 10s than Janet.

No Drake doesn't, lots of singles from his latest albums (that now mostly chart at once), have never reached the Top 10.

It seems like in the past, new certification's always arrived before releasing a new single.

I will say "janet." was certified for 5 million in under 7 months and didn't fall off the Billboard 200 until March 1995.

That should say how behind that album really is.
