Agreed. I think Taylor is over 70 million in SPS for her albums. That doesn't include shipments.

          • No weekly update this week. Chartmasters tool is now only avaliable for premioum members, which I'm not, and Spotify updated really late yesterday and kind of early today. I couldn't save any data for Janet.

Mayby next week, but I can't promise anything. It's not up to me only anymore. Sorry.

Chile, that's only 113k away from Gold.

Too bad! I was recording her daily streaming data way back in 2021 and it was a lot of work.

Just know we appreciated all the updates, it hasn't went unnoticed!

At the very least it's going to end up in 400K range which is kinda impressive considering everything that happened (or rather what didn't happen )

It could eventually be a Gold record if somehow a song from the album ends up going viral, but the chances of that are probably zero considering how even Janet's massive hits and songs from her prime have never went viral on Tiktok.

I'm surprise the album not at 400K now the album would be eligible for Gold if it was promoted and would probably move to the 400K range if a song went viral like BURNITUP! is a song that should go viral that's a banger.

                    • Agreed with all of you! Really impressive that album is near 400k, considering she never promoted it, never performed any of it on TV, didn't do any radio promo and then she tour briefly and then cancelled the rest of the tour because of her pregnancy.

BURNITUP! is over 200k in SPS, with no music video, no promotion, no radio promo. If only she pushed it a little more!

                      • Unbreakable was on its way to Gold as it was bundled with tour merch but the tour got cancelled when she got pregnant.

Do you really think she would have sold over 100k pieces of merch ?

With physical sales, If is at 1.32M as it sold 600k physicals according to Billboard's list of best-selling records of 1993 (Jan 15th, 1994 issue - page 73)

For Anytime, Anyplace, it is at 1.571M as it sold 500k physicals according to Billboard's list of best-selling records of 1994 (Jan 21st, 1995 issue - page 57)

Might be a bit higher though as I assume both singles might have sold a bit more physicals past 1994 and 1995 respectively.

This was partially due to the rise of music being shared online. Why do you think they installed digital copies to the RIAA? Cause no one was going to stores anymore to buy singles. The only reason "I Want You" was certified off of physical copies in 2004 was due to it being sold in Lidrock singles. "Feedback" remains Janet's strongest digital seller versus, say "Call on Me" and "No Sleeep". By the late 2000s, all singles certified were from digital sales only.

ATAP could be eligible for 2 million in the next 2-3 years if it keeps growing the way it is.
