      • "Number Ones" should be certified Platinum, maybe 2X Platinum since it's a double album.

            Platinum, I think.

            And maybe "Icon" could be Gold including shipment? What is RIAA counting, TEA?

                  They seem good, you're forgetting that singles sales were low, and that she doesn't have that many global hits...

                  • They are selling tracks now, for $0.69, not singles. If we count tracks on these singles separately, it's a different story. I think that you have to sell around 300 million tracks for the revenue of 40,000,000 physical singles sold. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not sure how much it cost back in the 90s and the 80s. $5?

                      "No Sleeep" sold 353,006 in the States, as of May 17th 2018. If he underestimated that, he could've underestimated everything.

                      No Sleeep (feat. J Cole) + No Sleeep (PKCZ Remix)
                      Digital Track Sales: 174,823

                      No Sleeep
                      Digital Track Sales: 178,183

                      The single was also available on 7" vinyl. Of course, that couldn't sell a lot.

                      ICON also sold more in the States, according to SoundScan, than worldwide, according to ChartMasters.

                          "No Sleeep" sold 353,006 in the States, as of May 17th 2018. If he underestimated that, he could've underestimated everything.

                          The single was also available on 7" vinyl. Of course, that couldn't sell a lot.

                          ICON also sold more in the States, according to SoundScan, than worldwide, according to ChartMasters.

                            That is correct. He claims worldwide sales of Icon at 100,000. It's physical album has scanned over 100,000.

                                I'm really surprissed with the ICON album sales/total units. It could be eligible for Gold eventually despite never charting on BB200.

                                @Bojan,

                                Regarding the "No Sleeep" sales, I think those 178,183 cover all versions of the song.

                                  Think so too and even that seems to be too much for the US alone imo. I mean how many weeks did the song spend on the Hot 100?

                                    And even if you ignore "No Sleeep," you can see that "Icon" sold more in the USA, according to SoundScan than worldwide, according to ChartMasters (which is still only one guy who is now trying to save his damaged reputation on Twitter because I shared this).

                                                Well.... focusing in this No Sleeep's sales... It seems too high for the performance that it had. How did it manage to sell the same amount of Focus' Ariana Grande for example if the last one had much better chart-run and peak in digital chart?

                                                And about Chartmasters I think he is very accurate, sometimes he shows more sense than official sources.

                                                  There were digital cards that were "sold" on tour with purchase. That COULD be why. I'm not sure.

                                                  • It’s pretty simple, actually.

                                                    According to what it has been posted here today with Soundscan figures:

                                                    Unbreakable (album)

                                                    ALBUM SALES: 272,488
                                                    ALBUMS W/TEA 305,300

                                                    TEA= Track Equivalent Albums
                                                    305,300 - 272,488 = 32,812

                                                    Ratio for TEA is 1/10
                                                    328,212 tracks sold from Unbreakable.

                                                    So obviously “No Sleeep” sales cannot be 353k.

                                                    @Bojan, you (or the person who gave you the info), added the track total and the song total.
                                                    Digital Tracks and Digital Songs are different charts.
