    • Amazing stats. Thanks, @_makeme.

Just one small correction, the Tokyo Dome and the Kyocera Dome Osaka are stadiums, not arenas.

        • During the time All For You was certified 3x-P in Japan, sales/shipments had to have been 750,000 I believe. I don't get how MJD predicted 725,000 for a total in Japan.

We need someone else to look into Janet because he obvious MJDangerous got something against her.

Also, his reasoning for not believe "Janet" is the best selling international album in Japan is "there is no way it could have outsold Thriller." What kind of reason is that.

          • Not sure how true this is or if it was already discussed, but Janet is listed as the best selling female in South Africa ever (international)

            Control - 4x-P (200,000) #1 (2 weeks)
            Rhythm Nation 1814 - 5x-P (250,000) #1 (5 weeks)
            janet. - 6x-P (300,000) #1 (6 weeks)
            Design of a Decade - 3x-P (150,000) #2
            The Velvet Rope - 2x-P (100,000) #1 (1 week)
            All For You - 4x-P (200,000) #1 (3 weeks)
            = 1,200,000 just in certs

            "
Janet Jackson's "The Velvet Rope" sold 17,121 copies to enter at #1"
            "
Janet Jackson's "All For You" sold 44,722 copies to enter at #1. "

These certs come from this site, but I will look harder into it. http://www.geocities.ws/sa_divas/albums.html

            • ^agree. I remember somebody else sharing Japan and Oricon sales data a few years back and his estimates for Janet's album sales in are significantly higher than MJDangerous' with imports factored in. Sadly, he is no longer active here i believe.

The version in this playlist is the one in the Icon GH collection. Do we add streams for this to album version (with 27M streams so far)?

Yeah we should add the extra streams from the album version. It already jumped to her 5th most streamed song. Finally knocking scream to #6. She also is gaining followers again. Hope AFY stays at #2 on that playlist for awhile.

                                    • Her digital team (does she even have one?) is a mess. Number Ones/The Best was even removed from spotify and its her most comprehensive GH collection!

                                      • Her monthly listeners are growing pretty fast. I wonder if it's because of the new playlist exposure. Also Control Remix getting added to spotify probably helped.

                                            Aww thanks.
I do most research on European and Spotify receipts.

                                            • I want her to re certify her music. Especially in European territories. She has enough money to pay for the certifications

Does anyone live outside the US? It appears Janet has songs on spotify only available on spotify in different countries. For example a buddy of mine from another fourm who lives in Australia can find a single version of whoops now which i cannot since i live in a states. Can anyone help me out?

I always thought it was because after your leave a record company they stop certifying your stuff. But I believe there are certain countries that automatically certify records like the UK.

Her spotify monthly listeners are growing at a very healthy rate. The playlists are working )))

                                                  • I'm pretty sure All for you is going to jump to the top of her spotify when they do their next update (I think it happens every 2 weeks.)

It's gaining streams really fast w/ the new playlist positions
