I saw that Sia remained classified for almost 3 months from November 2020 to February 2021, maybe that's what makes the difference, AIWFCIY generally only lives for 1 month maximum.

This still does not solve the problem when you consider that AIWFCIY must have spent more time than that in the top 50 of the French chart, from the 90s to the present day.

One is not obliged to respond to my remark if he does not have the right explanation, I was not launching a debate or a challenge.

I think the right answer is simply that we don't know.

Not always. I mean aren't some of Mariahs songs certified in the US and haven't charted.

It's not the same thing or the same situation, and I didn't say that this kind of thing doesn't exist elsewhere. I just thought I could find an explanation that might shed some light on the situation, that's why I made this remark, but there is obviously none, so that's good.

Don't forget that the SIA song was released in the middle of the streaming era and SIA is current and popular in France much more than Mariah, I think she could have Gold, maybe the pro week or next year .

Absolutely.
A bit off topic but I sometimes find it weird that AIWFCIY is still not certified in France, after all these years where it charts regularly in the French chart, and even peaked at the top of the chart in 2018.
Not to mention that it charts every year in the top 10 or the top 20 for several years already.
In comparison, Sia's 2017 single Snowman is already certified platinum, while its peak in the French chart was # 35.

Same. Her best chances are always the 1st week of December and surprisingly this week. Snatching the number 1 from AIW will be shocking whenever it happens.

Nope it was a bit down. Maybe the controversy with Darlene led some people to search out her version instead.

Indeed, this decrease in its Spotify worldwide total must have taken place particularly in the US (as I supposed), due to rumors of the dispute with Darlene Love.
However, the song appears on streaming service charts in more countries this year than last.
