A week late!

Technically not the post-Christmas week as this tracking week included Christmas Day, the week nonetheless contained more post than pre-Christmas Days. AIWFCIY hung on for another surprise week on the Hot 100.


❄ Longevity champ: AIWFCIY now holds the record by itself for most weeks a Mariah song has spent on the Hot 100, with its 44 weeks pushing it 1 ahead of We Belong Together. AIWFCIY now holds the record for most weeks by a Mariah song in the top 100, top 50, top 40, and top 30! It's bound to break more records next season.


❄ 5, 10...: This is the first season that AIWFCIY has spent 5 weeks in the top 10 of the Hot 100. It previously spent 4 weeks in the top 10 in both 2018 and 2019.


❄ 5, 10, 15: Speaking of the top 10, AIWFCIY moves to 5th place among Mariah's songs for most weeks in the top 10, tying the legendary ABMB, both with 15 weeks.


❄ A streaming success: With 5 weeks at #1 on the Streaming Songs chart, AIWFCIY enjoys its best run on the chart, bettering its 4 week stay at #1 from last season.


❄ Seasonal best: AIWFCIY's 7 consecutive weeks on the Hot 100 matches its seasonal best from 2019, when it had overtaken the 6 weeks it charted in 2018. AIWFCIY also charted for 7 weeks on Streaming Songs, a seasonal best matching 2019's run.


❄ Very Merry Christmas: Merry Christmas spends a 9th consecutive week on the Billboard 200 this season, matching its run from 2019. Only during its debut season in 1994-95 did it log more weeks with 13. It also spends 5 weeks in the top 20, the first time since its debut.


❄ All Time Champ: AIWFICY is now Mariah's biggest chart hit ever on the Hot 100, based on an unweighted inverse points system from 100 to 1! It finally overtakes We Belong Together, inconceivably. Not only that, it also ranks as Mariah's biggest song based on its performance in the top 50 (inverse points from 50 to 1) again inching past WBT. Billboard applies a weighting to its ranking based on the year of charting and other factors, so this is not a reflection of Billboard's all-time charts.
