From memory, I don't think so. I think it did last year on the Global Charts.

It helps they have 200 positions, but as Christmas songs are still big after the 25th in some countries the song still gets those streams and sales.

    The Season in reacp:

.- Mariah Carey's Xmas catalogue has once again ruled the world. All I want for Christmas is You has sold an estimated 3 million consumption units this season, with the two biggest markets being the US (est. 1,5 million) and the UK (595k).

.- All I want for Christmas Is You peaked at #1 in 19 countries in 2022/23, including the BB provided chart for Luxemburg. What is even more impressive is the fact that it also reached the top 10 in a further 16 countries, totaling 35 markets where the song landed in the Top 10 this season. Mind-blowing success.

.- Merry Christmas also benefitted from the Xmas craze. The trademark yuletide album sold an estimated 480,000 units globally, making it the biggest selling holiday album by a female artist of 2022 and the 2nd biggest overall sellling Christmas album, behind Michael Bublé's Christmas album which sold an estimated 700,000 units in streaming consumption.

.- Merry Christmas reached the top 10 in 11 individual music markets and charted in 20 countries altogether = a new peak for the album.

.- All I want for Christmas Is You has surpassed 30 million consumption units, while Merry Christmas has surpassed 20 million in its own right.

.- Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) and Oh Santa battle for second place among her Christmas songs, both making the charts in 4 individual countries. Christmas, however, has the advantage of being streamed more overall. Its consumption units can be estimated at around 250,000 units for 2022 (globally), with Oh Santa behind at an estimated 190,000.

.- Overall: Consumption for Mariah Carey Christmas catalogue can be estimated at 4,5 million albums and singles, bringing her overall career holiday catalogue to 65 million global consumption units which is the biggest total for any music artist releasing holiday music (dead or alive).

    See you next season.

She mostly has the edge but just going off total streams without the U.S being added , the figure seems more closer and within reach if Mariahs team is willing to have a more popular or just as powerful version outside the U.S.

Darlene's version is a hit in the US, Mariah should seize the opportunity and take the advantage internationally. Just like I said there was no rush for a video, now Im thinking that one could make her take the lead in those markets.

The song has the potential to chart. It is well positioned and needs a clear channel deal and a music video. (the same goes for OS btw which is doing surprisingly well in the UK).
The OS growth in the UK is wonderful. Don't see Mariah or Sony giving CBPCH a push to chart but would be great

Nevertheless is the song Mariah's 2nd biggest holiday song at the moment with international charts entries and some serious consumption units.
