With the “Dawn of Chromatica” release yesterday we kind of forget about the physical release of BTW 10th Anniversary!
Finally on stores and shipping now.
What should be expected chart-wise?
I have no clue where it could enter (or re-enter)…
#50 on BB200 will sell close to 13k this week according to HDD.
Streaming and digital sales will be minimal… but hopefully the physical editions sold enough these months on pre-order to have a decent debut/re-entry.
Thanks to the 10th Anniversary Edition CD released this week:
UK Album Sales Chart
31 Born This Way
UK Physical Albums Chart
27 Born This Way
Despite being Top 100 on the Midweeks, it missed the official Top 100 today.
I was it was close.
It's what happens when you release a digital version in June, the CD in September and the Vinyl in December...
Same with Dawn of Chromatica. This strategy of releasing albums in 3 steps they're doing is a MESS.
She didn't even tweet about the physical release of BTW 10th Anniversary. She couldn't care less, it's seems.
The 'BTW 10th Anniversary' and 'Dawn Of Chromatica' seems to be projects of her label, with no direct involvement of Lady Gaga.
The only point of this projects (for me) is to increase her overall sales. I only listened one time only both of them. Although, DOC has interesting remixes.
This year, we will have Love For Sale , which will not have a great promotion rollout. I would love for her to do a House of Gucci soundtrack album, that would be cool!

I assume the same, getting Born This Way over that 4X Plat mark eventually!
What do you know about this? Is it official? I can’t see it on SNEP website… Although that site is a MESS, lots of certs missing.
well… this comes from Fnac.com as usual. Polydor giving informations to fnac for their descriptions.
it’s like for INLA and Free Woman being 3rd singles in France. We got the info on fnac.com in the description of new articles related to the eras lmao. So yeah it’s true because it’s from Polydor but SNEP will surely never updates it. A forgetting Chromatica certification tease.
Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ Returns to Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart After a Decade
Lady Gaga’s Born This Way album, released in 2011, returns to the top 10 of Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart (dated Sept. 18) for the first time in over a decade.
The set re-enters the list at No. 10 thanks to the Sept. 3 release of the CD and cassette editions of the album’s special 10th anniversary reissue. In the week ending Sept. 9, Born This Way sold 5,000 copies in the U.S. (up 5,251%), according to MRC Data. It sold about 100 copies in the week previous. (All versions of Born This Way, including the original release and the 10th anniversary reissue, are combined for tracking and charting purposes.)
Born This Way was originally released on May 23, 2011 and debuted at No. 1 on the June 18, 2011-dated chart. It was last in the top 10 on the July 23, 2011 list. The album was reissued on June 26, 2021 via digital retailers and streaming services with six additional tracks by other artists covering the album’s songs. (Among them: Kylie Minogue and Ben Platt.) The CD and cassette editions of the reissue followed on Sept. 3, while a vinyl LP release is expected on Dec. 10.
Of Born This Way’s sales of 5,000 in the week ending Sept. 9, nearly all of the sum was driven by CD sales.
