Just Dance Sales Plus Streaming: 9,507,000 - certified 9x Platinum
~11k a week with SPS. ~45 weeks until 10 million.
Wow! Thanks for the info.
I thought it would be a little closer to Diamond by now, but anyway, it'll get there this year so she'll have three Diamond singles!
If you accept petitions for the next time you can ask about Gaga, I'd love to know about those singles (or at least promo singles or with a music video) still not certified: GUY, 911 or Dance in the Dark.
Also about Perfect Illusions (still Gold, though it should be Platinum eligible by now) or Sour Candy (to know how far is it from Platinum).
nympho a curiosity, her debut is close to diamond now or diamond eligible already? Can RIAA merge her EP and album into one?
No... Unlike is most other countries, her label/team decided to split The Fame & The Fame Monster sales and streams for certification purposes in US.
They were certified 6xPlat and 5xPlatinum respectively in March 2020...

Well... maybe in the long long run...
If they had counted the sales and streams of both albums for The Fame certification while just the physical sales of the 8 tracks version for TFM, then The Fame would be Diamond by now and TFM would reach 2xPlatinum in a few years (considering It was 350k away in pure sales in 2019).
But honestly, I prefer it this way. I consider them 2 different albums, and so does Gaga... so even if she doesn't have a Diamond album, I would find unfair for TFM to be just Platinum (or 2xPlat eventually) considering how much of its sales and streams would go to The Fame album... They would look totally unbalanced, when both albums were equally successful. So I'm happy with the way they chose to certify them.

As much we love charts, we all know GP doesn't care about all this Gaga debut shaped the industry in it's own way solidified worldwide hits it spawned I don't see this album stopping any sales really it's her most known work to date and here in Netherlands her songs are always played in clubs
A diamond will be a cherry on top for a legendary career Gaga has, I hope one day we can celebrate that

Considering The Fame is eligible for close to 5x Platinum from pure sales alone, they've allocated most of its TEA/SEA to The Fame Monster:
The Fame - 6x Plat
Pure sales - ~4.9x Plat
Poker Face - 1x Plat (10x plat single)
Starstruck - 0.1x Plat (1x plat single)
The Fame Monster - 5x Plat
Pure sales - ~1.6x Plat
Bad Romance - 1.1x Plat (11x plat single)
Just Dance - 0.9x Plat (9x plat single)
Telephone - 0.5x Plat (5x plat single)
Paparazzi - 0.5x Plat (5x plat single)
Alejandro - 0.4x Plat (4x plat single)
Love Game - 0.3x Plat (3x plat single)
+0.25x Plat (5 x Gold singles) could be put into either release, probably The Fame Monster.
If it were specific to each release's track list, it would be:
The Fame - 8x Plat
Pure sales - ~4.9x Plat
Poker Face - 1x Plat (10x plat single)
Just Dance - 0.9x Plat (9x plat single)
Paparazzi - 0.6x Plat (6x plat single)
Love Game - 0.3x Plat (3x plat single)
Starstruck - 0.1x Plat (1x plat single)
+0.15x plat (3 Gold album tracks: Boys Boys Boys, Beautiful Dirty Rich, Eh Eh)
The Fame Monster - 3x Plat
Pure sales - ~1.6x Plat
Bad Romance - 1.1x Plat (11x plat single)
Telephone - 0.5x Plat (5 x plat single)
Alejandro - 0.4x Plat (4x plat single)
+0.1x Plat (2 Gold album tracks: Speechless, Monster)
If they did it this way, The Fame would be just over 8x Plat, and The Fame Monster would be very close to 4x Plat.
