Yeah and that's why I wonder why it happened when there has rarely been a Grammy effect abroad before. Even the records of Lorde and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis show nice increases...

    • ^^^ Why wonder? The consistency in sales for many of them overseas means it WAS the Grammys. It IS the biggest and most respected music awards show.

People here often overplay the other shows. Be it international or the US!
I was waiting for Bey to drop so she could show that T&A arent the only ones smashing album SALES!!!

The thing is that the big winners or performers of the previous years experienced nice boosts on the American Charts but not abroad and that's the big difference with this year and I'd like to know the reasons for this...

That's the price for each cert or the price for platinum cert?

Because if it's only for each cert, let's do some math.

They have certified it Gold and Platinum: $350x2=$700
IF they have sold a million copies the profit is: (some discounts in the way, huge price in first weeks...so on so on)$10,00x1,000,000=$10,000,000

                        Profit:$10,000,000-$700=$9999300

Pretty huge! So are they lazy or just cheapskates? :(
