A bit off topic, but it's amazing how Sony Music certifies songs and albums in Mexico literally like every 3 or 4 days while Universal and Warner don't care at all...
Like 90% of certs this year are from Sony Music artists.

    Back to topic,
Wasn't it already certified Platinum last week?

It's in your update just a few posts above.

          WTF?

Are they really certifying Silver that 2CDs combo? I guess most of those will be coming from physicals... As I doubt they're counting downloads and streams for that instead of each album separately.

            • So I guess she’ll drop the OST for “Marry Me” in Spring, but is that all we’ll get, after 7 years?

This is what she told Billboard about a new album:

Lopez: I love singing in Spanish. Honestly, I think I sing better in Spanish than I even do in English. That’s a big part of who I am. I’m always working on a Spanish album. I never finish it. But you don’t want to put anything out until you feel that it’s the right thing at the right time. I’ve been working on some songs on the album for three years, [and these two new ones], we did them and we put them right out.

In the UK downloads and streams for tracks are given to the album that is currently charting the highest in a given week. I read that in some interview with some charts guy from the UK a few weeks ago. Can't find it now, but that is what he said anyway. Basically he said there is no way of knowing from where someone streamed something - if it was from an original album or a GH collection for example. So the streams are just given to the highest charting album that week. Which probably explains why something like Whitneys Ultimate Collection has stayed on the charts for so long. All the track streams and downloads are going to it, and not the original albums.

                  • Oh lord, that's so confusing... So is she releasing "Marry Me" OST, studio album in Spanish or both?
