Queen's Greatest Hits is touted as the first 6 million seller in the UK. I was wondering whether this includes sales of the Platinum Collection and the Greatest Hits I and II sets or whether it is just the stand alone version? You have it listed at 2,049,250 so is this for a shorter time period?

think it's from the time UK's equivalent of Soundscan started tracking sales the week ending February 1st 1994 the album averages roughly 150,000 copies a year in the UK so should be 22x platinum by the end of the year

Yes, since 1994 - there does not even seem to be a consistent way of tallying sales that bridge the 1994 divide.
