Both were first recorded around the same time in late '87.

'All Fired Up' is an excellent song. The track was used as the original theme to the weekly Australian Football League (more commonly known as Aussie rules football) programme, back when it was shown on a Saturday morning on Channel 4 from 1990.

The Top 2 are great. Easily my favourite Magnum track, love it to bits. For some reason always makes me feel a wee bit emotional...which it has just done, as I've just listened to it again. As for the Roxette puzzler, I've no idea.

Had All Fired Up on 7" picture disc, smashing little track and IMO, far better than the original by The Rattling Sabres, which I think sounds rather weak and limp in comparison.

Looking at the chart, who the hell was still buying Give Me All Your Love by Whitesnake in mid July...it had been out of the charts for months by then.

Gypsy Road, is easily my favourite out of the new entries. Never their biggest fan but I love this track and also their Don't Know What You've Got Till It's Gone.

Never really had much time for Van Halen, didn't mind this, think I picked up a Ltd Ed silvery fold out sleeve thing, in another bargain bin trawl but I mainly bypassed their music and still do.

Ozzy, I can take or leave.

'Gypsy Road' by Cinderella was still getting plays on mainstream oldies music channels on VH1 around the turn of the 00s. Had it been released a year later it may even have been a mainstream top 40 hit when radio was more open to playing rock music.

You can also see there that Cheap Trick's The Flame spent 9 weeks on the UK 100 but never got further than 77.

Just never really took to Metallica back in the 80s. Quite liked Jump In The Fire, which I had in a monster shaped picture disc, loved that pic disc and Kill Em All but the rest of their stuff I was never really that into.

Seen them live twice, at Donington in 91 and in 09 at O2. Neither show managed to make me like them more. Mind you, both shows unfortunately had other reasons that tainted them. In 09, literally mins before them going on I got text telling me a mate had committed suicide and in 91, I got absolutely skelped on the back of the head by a 5L plastic container of pish, which eventually ended me up in the St Johns Ambulance tent for concussion!

I had a ticket to see Metallica back in 1996 in Newcastle. I never got to see them though as me and my then girlfriend split up two days before the concert! A ticket went to waste as I really did want to see them...

I quite like 'Harvester Of Sorrow'. The production lets down the song though.

I usually prefer their cover versions to their originals....
