Aah I didn’t remember it went to #1 twice in 96, I was just thinking of the four separate tournaments.

    • Will the OCC bundle together the 98 version with the 96 for the chart now or should they still be considered different songs?

      • So without ACR, 3 Lions may really be no.2 at the moment. Some way to go before it can get to 1 though.... Needs to at least triple its sales (with ACR) and increase by at least 50% without ACR...

i'm not over the moon, i am indeed annoyed

other fans think it's a bonus that she's getting extra weeks on chart but i've never seen such a badly mishandled release. They had the cheek to charge us upfront - many weeks ahead for these special bundles. So for some of them to only now be shipped and counted in week four is shocking. She hasn't even given us an explanation from her end. Keep an eye on Billboard (US charts) tomorrow - she might actually peak.

they have been bundled together ever since it recharted the last time. This is why i always credit both titles. The BuzzJack total chart run that i reproduce on UKMix includes both versions. OCC just credit it under Three Lions the original for simplicity reasons. All versions - remixes, instrumentals etc, not just those two are included (there's a commentary version available, too).

              • Music Week:

The legendary band [Queen]’s Greatest Hits set has been reissued for its 40th anniversary, and could return to top spot for the first time in four decades. However, with Tuesday’s streaming data yet to be counted, Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour may yet catch up. Former No.1 Sour has 10,633 sales so far and is ahead of Jack Savoretti’s Europiana (4,052 sales), Doja Cat’s Planet Her (3,300 sales) and Inside (The Songs) (2,684 sales) by Bo Burnham.

In the singles chart, Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits (61,489 sales) has passed the 60,000 mark, with 48,670 sales from streams, 11,996 from downloads and 823 physical units. Olivia Rodrigo’s Good 4 U (39,747 sales), Galantis, David Guetta & Little Mix’s Heartbreak Anthem (23,627 sales), Maneskin’s I Wanna Be Your Slave (21,332 sales) and The Weeknd’s Save Your Tears (20,978 sales) complete the Top 5.

Probably listed as a brand new entry. Same tune, radically different lyrics. Not that it's likely to chart on the main 100 due to day of release.
They listed The Killers ft Bruce Springsteen - Dustland as a new entry on download chart even though it was the same song as A Dustland Fairytale. Though the download charts seem to have different rules to the main charts and that may be because of the feature credit.

                            • this won't affect the week's figures as OCC just copy Wednesday's streams for Thursday but Three Lions is now top on Spotify.

                                • If England wins the EuroCup today the #01 will most likely be "Three Lions".
Is so strange to see Olivia holding on so much with a so uninspired song.
Only 2 new entries. Charts are dead and this just shows how new music isn't appealing.

Billie Eillish seems to be slowing down a lot as #21 on mid-weeks means it may probably miss the TOP 40 this week.

Take a deep breath Inhaler fans – the Irish rock band are on course for Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart with their debut album It Won’t Always Be Like This.

The Dublin quartet lead today’s Official Chart Update by over 7,000 chart sales having racked up the most physical and download sales this past weekend. Should Inhaler hold onto the top spot by Friday’s final chart, they’ll become the third Irish group to top the albums chart in the last decade, following The Script and Westlife.

Last week’s Number 1 SOUR by Olivia Rodrigo is the most streamed album of the week so far placing at 2, while Muse album Origin of Symmetry is on track for a return to the Top 5 at 3 following its XX Anniversary RemiXX edition release. The revamped offering was released digitally last month, with its vinyl rollout occurring last Friday (July 9).
