A 35th anniversary release of Rick Astley’s 1981 Number 1 album Whenever You Need Somebody, remastered at Abbey Road, could see the record return to the Official Albums Chart (9), while Europiana Encore, a reissue of Jack Savoretti’s 2021 chart-topper Europiana, is also on course to return to the Top 10 (10).

Wow!
42k physical is MASSIVE!
61.5k total is really great for a Monday update!
Albums downloads are really low in 2022!
Will he be able to cross 100k by Friday? Looks possible but he could be relying on a lot of pre-sales and if that's the case then 100k will be hard to get.
And by the numbers we have so far it looks like he will end up having the Full TOP 3 on Friday!
The 2nd,, 3rd and 4th album sales compared to Harry are shocking low! I mean... 5% of the #01 sales!

30 May 2022 Liam Gallagher on course for fourth UK Number 1 album with C’Mon You Know
If C’Mon You Know hits Number 1 this week, Liam would surge ahead of brother Noel with 11 Number 1 studio albums under his belt across his career
By Carl Smith Liam Gallagher is on course to claim his fourth UK Number 1 album with C’Mon You Know this week.
The former Oasis frontman currently leads the charge with his third solo studio album, having previously topped the Official Albums Chart with 2017’s As You Were, 2019 release Why Me? Why Not. and 2020 live LP MTV Unplugged.
All of Oasis’ seven studio albums hit Number 1, while Noel has a further three chart-topping studio albums under Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (plus a Number 1 greatest hits), and Liam has two chart-topping studio albums (plus one Number 1 live album). Liam will draw level with Noel on Friday if C’mon You Know lands him his tenth studio album to top the Official Albums Chart.
Liam also looks set to claim two Top 5 albums simultaneously this week as Down By The River Thames, a recording of his December 2020 lockdown livestream, sits at Number 3 midweek.
Meanwhile, Def Leppard’s twelfth studio album Diamond Star Halos is on track to give them their first Top 5 album in 26 years. Should it hold on to its Number 4 midweek position, it’ll prove the Sheffield rockers’ highest-charting album since 1996 record Slang (5).
At Number 5 after a weekend of sales is Will Young’s 20 Years: The Greatest Hits. The collection looks set to become Will’s tenth Top 10 album to date. See Will Young’s full Official Charts history here.
Sex Pistols’ The Original Recordings, a collection of the anarchic English punk band’s 1976-1978 works, eyes a Number 8 entry. This comes as the group ready a re-release of 1977 Number 2 hit God Save The Queen this Friday (June 3) in time for the Queen’s jubilee, some 35 years after its controversial release for the silver jubilee where it was banned from broadcast. Pistol, Danny Boyle’s biopic of the group’s guitarist Steve Jones, also lands on Disney+ this week.
Doja Cat’s Planet Her leaps 11 places back into the Top 10 following a 2LP deluxe edition release (10).
Following the launch of their ABBA Voyage show in London, ABBA’s chart mainstay Gold: Greatest Hits rises to Number 11 midweek, while the group’s 2021 release Voyage looks set to vault back into the Top 40 at Number 28.
Bedfordshire-born Alfie Templeman is on course to score his first-ever Top 40 album with Mellow Moon this week (14), while Sean Paul could claim his fifth with Scorcha (24).
A 30th anniversary Super Deluxe edition of Nirvana’s seminal 1991 release Nevermind, newly remastered from the original analog recordings, sees the record jump 43 places to Number 25 midweek.
Just Mustard’s second studio album Heart Under could see the Irish rock group enjoy their first Top 40 record (33), while a 20th anniversary expanded edition sees Eminem’s 2002 LP The Eminem Show re-enter the Top 40 (35). Finally, Kate Rusby’s 30 Happy Returns could be heading for the Top 40 following its vinyl release (36).
Nirvana is the long delayed vinyl version of the Super Deluxe - already a digital release.
Kate Rusby doesn't seem to have any vinyl, it's a CD that came out on Friday.

30 May 2022 Can Harry Styles extend As It Was’ lead as 2022’s longest-running Number 1?
By George Griffiths
Last week, Harry Styles’ As It Wasofficially became the longest-running Number 1 single of 2022 so far in the UK, overtaking the cast of Encanto’s mega-hit We Don’t Talk About Bruno with a total of eight weeks at the top.
Harry’s bestie Lizzo could be looking to jump up her highest-ever peak in the UK Official Singles Chart with About Damn Time (2), Cat Burns’ Go looks to hit a re-peak (3) while Ed Sheeran’s newest hit 2 Step could enter the Top 10 for this first time this Friday (9).
Several slow-burning hits are also on course to reach new heights this week; including Latto, Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled’s Big Energy (19) Benzz’s viral track Je M’appelle (20), Lady Gaga’s Hold My Hand (21) is currently tracking up 24 places into the midweek Top 40 following the release of Top Gun: Maverick, while Tom Grennan’s Remind Me is heading north five places (28).
Diplo & Miguel are eyeing a new peak for their team-up Don’t Forget My Love (31), while there are further possible new entries from Kanye West and the late XXXTentacion with True Love (32) and The K**ts’ Prince Andrew Is A Sweaty N***e (36).

Bit surprised the vinyl reissue of Pistols' GSTQ isn't in the top 100 mids. Must be a delay in collecting sales, surely? No issue with their Original Recordings set on albums chart. No sign of Brightman / Boe either which will have virtually zero streams! (but has a CD)
I'm very curious for the next update as many things may change.
Kate Bush is now at #01 in UK iTunes (and #31 also with a different version) and at #01 at UK Spotify with "Running Up That Hill" song that is on a Strangers Things new season full episode.
She have been #01 on iTunes UK for 17 hours and TOP 5 for over 48 hours already!
She was #02 the previous day but only #29 on the 2 days before on Spotify (28/05/2022) and out of TOP 200 on Friday(27/05/2022). So streams for mid-weeks we have now she was out of TOP 200 in one day and at #29 another day
(as we know streaming is 1 day behind on updates).
Next update will have that also day at #02 plus at #01 (with 617k streams) on 30/05/2022 plus updated iTunes contribution.
Will it be enough to put her song on next update TOP 10? I truly hope so!
Ed Sheeran (feat. Lil Baby) - 2step may drop out of TOP 10 since have been falling is now at only #48 on Spotify and #24 on iTunes.
What other changes will there be on the next update? This week just became more exciting for UK Charts
It looks like Kate Bush digital song sales and streams kept rising in the past hours.
In UK iTunes during the past 7 hours "Running Up That Hill" sold almost twice as much as #02 song, Harry Style "As It Was" increasing a bit the difference every hour that passes as it keeps rising on sales!
Also the other version of the song keep rising and is now at #26 in UK iTunes adding around 10% sales to its total.

it's not another version, it's another release (same version). The show Stranger Things does use both the original and an exclusive orchestral version but this version has not been released. It is this version that is key to the plot. Netflix have uploaded the clip in full with the song named in the title but i think it needs an official release to count towards the charts.
The original version is on the new Stranger Things soundtrack but can't be downloaded or streamed. All sales are from her album or single releases.
Not only Kate Bush is still #01 on UK itunes (for over 40 hours) but she selling more than twice than #02 and increasing the difference every hour.
She also have been increased her streams A LOT on Spotify UK:
31/05/2022 SPOTIFY UK
#01 - Kate Bush - "Running Up That Hill" - 832,875
#02 - Harry Styles - "As It Was" 576,354
#03 - Harry Styles - "Light Night Talking" - 343,876
#04 - Lizzo - "About Damn Time" - 311,802

On iTunes her different release (got it right now) is still at #26 contributing with aditional 9% of what her #01 release is selling.
Anyone knows if the Thursday Streaming estimations for chart based on the song previous days streams and takes also the increase tendency into account (increasing even more the numbers if the song is rising) or they just repeat Wendesday numbers?
I think the today mid-weeks do not take 31/05/2022 streams into account so whatever placement Kate Bush is today she will be quite higher on Friday.
I mean yesterday on Spotify Kate song have had over 3 times more streams than the #06 song by Jack Harlow! If Kate streaming numbers continues to climb tomorrow she may very well even re-entry to a TOP 5 position on Friday.
I hadn't realised there was an actual update yesterday!
Hasn't happened on a Tuesday for a while!
