No sales albums charts on billboard.com/charts page, with the sole exception of Top Album Sales. And Vinyl Albums which I assume must be sales based.

Catalog Album Sales, Country Catalog Albums, R&B/Hip-Hop Catalog Albums - all gone.
The latter two were sales based with NO equivalent-sales counterpart. At least replace them with an EAS version? No - why would we do that?

All gone from searchable archives as well. Retain a chart that doesn't exist anymore in the archives? Why would we do that?

They trashed the Catalog Albums chart (mostly useless, they're all in the Billboard 200 anyway) for a brief period last summer, only to bring it back later. Maybe this will happen with the sales charts... I doubt it, there'd have to be some backlash beyond the hoi polloi.

Re-releases (except to the extent they impact Vinyl Albums) won't matter anymore. The flagship publication of the US music industry does not care.

Unbelievable. I'm almost at the 'forget it' point with them.
