That site's not reliable at all...at least not for the last decades
I am working for hitparadeitalia too.
Because we are not authorized to distribute the FIMI or the M&D charts we create a new chart combining all the other charts. For this reason the weekly charts of HPI are different than the FIMI or the M&D charts.
Thanks a lot! I can't believe i finally found those chartruns, i'm so so grateful! Only one thing, a couple of singles are missing, like Wannabe, Say you'll be there, 2 become 1 and Melanie C's Northern Star (which i remember it was #4 so you should have the chartrun for FIMI). Do you have those? You'd become my hero if you had them all!
And well, do you know if on Musica & Dischi the other solo albums charted? And one last question and then I swear I leave you alone :p For a few of the singles you posted, is it only the top10 or top20? Because for exemple, Viva Forever was #10 the last week you posted, does it mean that you only have the top10 for that single or that it got out of the top20 the next week?
Thanks a lot mate, i'm just so happy that you're giving me all this information!

The FIMI chart (singles) started in feb 1997 with only 10 pos.
Then, in feb 99 we had 20 pos.
>From jan 2000 30 pos.
>From sep 2000 50 pos.
>From may 2003 75 pos.
>From jul 2003 50 pos.
For this reason Wannabe (1996) and 2 become 1 (1996) never charted in FIMI chart.
Say you'll be there was released in 97 when the FIMI chart was 10 pos., so it never charted in FIMI. In M&D max pos. was 23
You are right about Northern Star (credited to Mel C, and not Melanie C: I have checked only Melanie C).
This is the chart run (FIMI)
04/12/1999 Northern star - Mel C 4
11/12/1999 Northern star - Mel C 11
18/12/1999 Northern star - Mel C 16
25/12/1999 Northern star - Mel C 16

Tomorrow I'll answer about the album question
Alright, thanks for clearing everything up and replying. Then I guess that to have an official chartrun for the first 3 Spice Girls singles I'd have to take them from M&D, eventhough now I don't know if those are the ones on Hitparadeitalia. In case they're not, do you think you could post them in case it doesn't cause you too much trouble? And well, can't wait for the albums chartruns! ;) Thanks a lot once again!

All the chart runs for the Spices (from M&D: 1960-2006) are on my website.
Richard, Cliff
1959: Living doll (Bart) (Cliff Richard & Shadows)
1962: Theme for a dream
1962: How wonderful to know (Anema e core) (D'Esposito - Goelf) - [#9]
1962: Bachelor boy (Cliff Richard & Shadows)
1962: The Young ones (Bennet - Tepper) (Cliff Richard & Shadows)
1968: Congratulations (Carrera - Coulter - Fontana - Martin)
1976: Devil woman (Authors - Britthen,B) - [#39]
1980: We don't talk anymore (Tarney) - [#2]
1981: Suddenly (Farrar,J) (Olivia Newton-John & Cliff Richard)
1989: Some people - [#14]
could someone explain in words of one syllable what the 'proper' authentic Italian Chart is for usage - and whether different charts are best for different periods of time?
www.hitparadeitalia.it lists the following for Cliff Richard
Richard, Cliff

As you can see it's very similar to the M&D chart book. In this list only four songs entered in the chart and one (Devil woman) only at #39, so this position is not coming from M&D.
If you want a correct/complete explanation of the best charts for different period of time I need a book for this explanation.
If you want only two lines: M&D from 1960 to 1995 (albums) 2000 (singles).
M&D and FIMI from 1995-2000 until now.
Hello everyone.

WEEK OF 21/8/2008: 19- CLOSER; 20-IO NON MI RICONOSCO; FROM 21 TO 50 ?

Hi, all... Was "Germano Ruscitto" an italian music magazine?
No, he was the editor of an italian music magazine "Discografia Internazionale". These charts were on Billboard from nov. 1969 until the end of 1972. When this magazine ceased on dec. 1972 he made his own charts only for Billboard with his name from 1974 until 1988.

Thanks. I made a search and nothing showed, so thats way I was asking... And what is also interesting - FIMI and Musica e Dischi had a common chart in late 90s (from 1996)? I thought both had their own charts...

No, M&D and FIMI never had a common chart. TV Sorrisi e Canzoni and FIMI yes.

Strange, because Billboard Magazine published from 1996 in its "Hits of the World" section the source "Musica e Dischi/Fimi... But few MD peaks are known and they didn t match with those in Billboard, so it was probably the FIMI chart... Example is "Un Dos Tres (Maria) single by Ricky Martin... MD peak is no. 5 and there was a higher peak according to Billboard source... Maybe FIMI?
