It looks like FIMI has finally digitilized all their weekly charts since the very first one in March 1995 abd they are available in their website

Yes, but it looks that they merged the physical singles chart and digital singles chart in 2006-07 period. They were two separate charts. Physical singles chart was active from February 1997 until December 2007, Digital singles chart is currently active and started from April 2006.

Are you sure that never happened with other rappers? However, yes. I think that a chart based on streaming and digital sales only reflects the taste of the youngest generations, ignoring the others that prefer other ways to listen music. With the decline of physical sales, the adult consumers prefer listen the music singles on radio.
So, i think that a chart based on a mix of sales, streaming and radio better reflects what is really popular and listened in Italy.

I did notice that in the archive there was only a "Singoli" section unlike before when there was i think "Mix and singles" and "Digital", but i took for granted they considered the official single chart the physical mix until the last week of 2007 and then digital downloads from the first week of 2008 but instead they chose the opposite way and "erased" a year and a half of what themselves at the time presented as the official chart...interesting.

So now what should we consider the real single chart for the period April 2006-December 2007? I assume we have to go with the digital one like in the archive now....
The 2007 physical singles charts were embarassing, however this is a bit messy in perfect FIMI style...was it really THAT difficult at the time to merge the data of pysical and digital singles and create ONE chart from the beginning?

It has never happened, Sfera Ebbasta (which ironically is duetting with Blanco on these past weeks number one single) came very close doing it in January 2018 when he had the whole top12 except for position #5 occupied by Ed Sheeran.

I also agree that some change needs to be made, personally i lost a lot of interest in following the charts over the last couple of years...

My chart, starting from pos. 30, is different. I don't have Michael Jackson songs at all in this chart

In books published by Guido Racca. Though they're by artists mostly, not the actual charts.

raindrops there's no such place on the internet as far as i know, the only way is to get books as Passing_Stranger rightly suggested. But the ones i know don't have weekly charts but are mostly databases with the albums listed by the name of the artists (with peak positions and number of weeks charting) or year-end charts, like these ones

1-Weekly charts (Singles only) in hitparadeitalia.it starting from the sixties
2-Weekly charts (Singles and Albums) starting form 1995 in www.fimi.it
3-Weekly charts (Singles and Albums) from RAI in this blog http://chart-collector.blogspot.com/...ade-italy.html
