Fimi.it has archives from Jan 2000. Is there a website with previous charts?

I assume that charts at Fimi.it are official Italian charts. So what are charts like Musica & Dischi or Hit Parade Italia?

And the last question: there's still no website with certifications, right?

No, there is no website with previous FIMI charts.
The are two music company associations in Italy: FIMI and AFI.
FIMI is the association of all the majors and few minor companies. FIMI-Nielsen are their charts. They claim it is the official chart.
AFI is the association of all the other companies, included all the indies. They say Musica&Dischi charts are the official charts

By the way FIMI started in 1995. Musica&Dischi (it's a magazine) started in 1960.
Now we have two charts. I think both are good. Before 1995 we had many different charts. HitParadeItalia tries to have only one chart from the beginning until now, mixing all the available charts.

There is no website with certifications. The certifications in Italy are an option.

Sorrisi & Canzoni started in 1963 with his own chart (only singles). Then they added the album chart in 1971.
They ended the singles chart in 1997 and started to use the FIMI single chart.
They ended the album chart in 1995 and started to use the FIMI chart in a special way.
Because FIMI compiles two different album charts:
1) one chart for Albums only and one chart for Compilations only (Various Artists) available everywhere (and in the FIMI site).
2) a special chart, only for Sorrisi&Canzoni, with both Artists and Compilations mixed together. And this one is avilable only
in the magazine and now also online in the Sorris&Canzoni site.

There is no official charts in Italy before 1995 (and also after 1995) so I can use the chart you prefer. In my database I have (I will have) all the different charts and also my own chart created mixing all the available charts (with different weight).
The only archives online (before 2000) are the archive of hitparadeitalia (free) or the archive of Musica&Dischi (but you have to pay).
This afternoon I'll check what I have now regarding the Jacksons

I have entries coming from 4 different charts:
FIMI: from 1997 until 2006
M&D: from 1960 until 2006
RAI: from 1963 until 1994
Sorrisi&Canzoni: from 1967 until 1997
As you can see they are completely different

I can give you specific chart runs, if you need, but:
1) Not all the charts are now on my PC. Many are again on paper. So I have to make some work to combine what I have on my DB and what is again on paper.
2) The full charts after 2000 are on the FIMI website.
3) I asked both M&D and FIMI and both told me that I can't distribute their charts because they are copyrighted. M&D sells all the charts. FIMI gives them only to the associates (Music Companies).

Oh, I just wanted the FIMI before 2000 charts and not the combined charts. Unfortunately they're copyrighted...
Maybe just Mariah, Celine, Madonna, Whitney's chart run for S&A?

We don't have an official list of certifications in Italy. Everything I have found (official) about sales and certfications (in these last years) is on my website.
