http://www.irishcharts.ie shows peaks and number of weeks in the chart, butnot full chartruns.
Anyone know one? I'd be interested on checking it too.
The Irish charts is about to get better cos downloads will now be included from next month, just thought I'd mention that for people that didn't knowLONG LIVE GIRLS ALOUD

beatlened, Shakyfan and CZB have been posting full runs of the Irish charts in these Chart Analysis pages. You just need to do a bit of a search. However, album chart info is hard to come by, as this info has only been published since Chart Track took over compilation of the charts in the early 90s. You can find an chart archive (starting only in 2000 - which should cover all the artists you are interested in) at http://www.charttrack.co.uk/index.jsp?c ... 002&arch=t
However, you can't search by artist - you can only call up the Top 75 album chart for each week from Week 1 2000 to the present, so assembling a full run for these albums, particularly when there may be gaps in the runs, will be a bit time consuming for you.

As luck would have it I sent details for Shakira and Britney to a couple of people earlier this week!
Britney

The person looking for this information only required the album info up to the end of 1999. My spreadsheet starts at the beginning of 2002 so I have been able to copy & paste that. If I can go to the bother of getting all this you could at least make the effort to search for the info for 2000 and 2001 for yourself!
BOMT has not made the album chart since the start of 2002.

[i]I have posted the following before but for information purposes here it is again![/i}
The following information was given to me by someone at IRMA
Certifications in Ireland are as follows:
Albums:
Gold: 7,500 units sold
Platinum: 15,000 units sold
Singles:
Silver: 7,500 units sold
Gold: 10,000 units sold
Platinum: 15,000 units sold
There are no average single sales as it depends on the release of new repertoire, but on a slow week 500 sales could make the Top 20.
There are no average album sales as it depends on the release of new repertoire, but on a slow week 400 sales could make the Top 20.

As for full album charts I have quite a number from the 90s (though there are large gaps in the first couple of years). Most of the ones I have are Top 20s or 30s and at present they are only on paper. If / when I manage to post the singles for 1994 to 96 I could make a start on the albums. Oh and at the weekend I found a folder with the Top 30 airplay charts which they used to count down on 2FM at one point - I have 23 April 94 to 1st Oct 94.

Now here's a reliable source
I've just been in touch with IRMA and they have just confirmed with me in an email that downloads will be included in the official charts from July 1st, with the first download/physical chart coming out on July 7th.
How excitingCan't wait to see what the first Irish download/physical #1 will be

"Maneater" may yet overtake Shakira, and there's also a small chance "Mas Que Nada" could be Number 1 on July 7.
