This is how K-Pop albums work in general, lol. They release multiple versions so fans can collect them all. Granted, K-Pop albums have a lot that comes with it besides a CD(like a photobook, cards and other freebies), so it's not surprising it's more expensive than the average western release.

I can see what you are getting at, but it's too sudden that the numbers dropped down that quick in a few weeks. I think it's more likely that iTunes themselves are cutting back on the chart size. For reasons most likely connected with company policy then a fall off in sales. If the OCC are getting all the sales data from iTunes downloads, they will know how far the company is doing in terms of selling downloads. But they are too secretive to reveal that sort of data.
To reduce the chart down to 100 in a few short weeks (if it was just the sales levels) would see iTunes closing down in the next few months. Simply on the grounds that keeping all the equipment going for so few customers would be madness. The OCC would also be reporting massive decreases in the physical market, not small percentage drops that I recall seeing in the last few weeks.
Considering the amount the OCC claim the market went down by I have been surprised iTunes were able to keep a 1500 chart up so long.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if iTunes could still get a 1500 chart, with records still selling at 1500 and sort them too!

To me this is Apple's next step in getting shut of iTunes.
