      I just played your #1 and it's a BOP!

      1. (2.) Black Gryph0n & Baasik feat. Elsie Lovelock: Heaven 2 Hell (1 week at #1)
      2. (1.) Gayle: ABCDEFU
      3. (-) Gayle: Ur Just Horny
Your Billboard Top Ten: #1 Kill Bill [2 weeks]
AlbumClash 2.0: [Miley Cyrus vs. Lana Del Rey]
Rina Sawayama: Hold the Girl Album Survivor [Results]

It occurs to me that Jude does this too, changes who she is depending on who she’s with. They’re like toads changing their skin colour. How come I’m always just me?

Awesome to hear you liked "Heaven 2 Hell" so much! Gayle's follow-up is another good one, and after my most recent chart, her second number one in my top five. Definitely the second best song she's released (I listened to all the pre-ABCDEFU singles a while ago, they weren't bad but her new sound is more to my liking).

It's "Sun Goes Down" all over again. With that song, he only entered after the album release – as for "Thats What I Want", I first heard (and liked) it when the album came out, but I really got into it after it returned to the Hot 100 top 10 and I gave it another listen. Three number one hits from "Montero" is quite impressive!

He'll probably be in the top five for quite a while – nothing new has entered the chart after "Bones", hopefully May will bring some interesting new music!

The version by Lloyd Price seems to be the best-known one, though a lot of artists have recorded it. I heard the Delbert version on a country/roots radio show and was surprised to find out it was a new recording (I think it really nails that 50s rock and roll sound). And this surprising debut made the 81-year-old McClinton the second oldest artist ever in my top five (Owe Thörnqvist charted a few years ago at 88 – I have no idea who's the third oldest, but probably they're a lot younger)!

"About Damn Time" was a nice surprise – Lizzo did have four number ones in her last era, but "Rumors" failed to impress me.

Walker definitely knows how to make a fun song! It's already his fifth hit in my top five in less than a year – and the third to reach number one (after "Fancy Like" and "AA"). I don't think many other artists have managed to chart with five consecutive single releases. Whenever he releases his next album, I'll definitely check it out!

Awesome to see it on your chart too!

Definitely a recent highlight for me! I can't really think of anything on the current charts that sounds quite like it, and especially the chorus is a great one.

Great to see you liked Nessa's song too! It's quite different from her previous two entries on my chart, but that's not a bad thing – I think it has one of the best pop melodies I've heard in a while.

I'm glad you liked it! It's the third hit for Ghost in my top five, the previous ones being "Square Hammer" and "Dance Macabre" (the former was #3 in my 2016 year-end – will "Mary on a Cross" be able to match that?). I first heard "Mary on a Cross" back in 2019, but its recent chart resurgence inspired me to give it another listen, and you can see the result.

It occurs to me that Jude does this too, changes who she is depending on who she’s with. They’re like toads changing their skin colour. How come I’m always just me?

Yeah, I guess the mixing could be a bit better – though that's not a huge surprise in a song by an unsigned artist (at the time of the original release). But it doesn't detract from the song's catchiness for me, and I definitely prefer it to the Robin Schulz rip-off version (with louder but otherwise ill-fitting vocals).

"Frankenstein" is definitely a recent pop highlight for me! I found it thanks to its appearance on several personal charts here (and consequently the UKmixPARADE). I just wish it was also more popular outside UKMIX!
