Was NOT expecting to see a 1D album above the likes of folklore, Golden Hour, RN1814, etc, but it makes for a fun, fascinating reminder of how this is a personal favorite/personal impact list (the albums that shaped Akini - and still hold up to him today). 1D's first two albums felt pretty filler-heavy to me, so I'm very surprised to learn that critics rated TMH their highest (and Midnight Memories their lowest! That's the album that really showed me they could be more than singles artists/put together a full compelling LP). "Back For You" was always my biggest standout among Take Me Home's album tracks (that and "Kiss You" were their Paulboard No. 1's from this era). Apparently I never added any of the Yearbook/Expanded Edition bonus tracks to my library, so thanks for giving me a reason to finally do that!
