MSSA #10 (March 3 - March)

... und wir sitzen...

at #1. German pop trio AnnenMayKantereit debut at #1 this week on the MSSA chart with their new album "Es ist Abend und wir sitzen bei Mir". The set of 15 incredible songs amassed an astonishing 312 streams - giving the band their biggest debut ever. Just one more week after Klan's massive debut, AMK also collected the 2nd highest streaming total of 2023 for a new release.

It seems like German music has once again completely taken over the MSSA chart, despite not quite making it to the top on the singles charts this week. So, the battle for complete spring domination can begin.

Alles Klan?!

German pop duo Klan scored their 4th consecutive #1 album on the MSSA chart this week. Their new album jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! amassed 451 streams to debut atop - which is the biggest one-week streaming total for any album of 2023.
Under the new singles charts rule, three songs entered this week's top 10, with Hey Nora being the front-runner at #2.

British singer Raye who entered the Bubbling Under Charts with her debut album last week, completely exploded and grabs her first ever #1 single with Escapism and a stunning #2 album debut on the official charts.

A look ahead: Another German Titan has released a new album: AnnenMayKantereit are expected to debut in the top 5 next week, but can they grab the #1? Klan will still be a serious contender.
