  • u do? I love German lyrics.

BTW you just made me aware of Ardian's new album, bought it right away a few secs ago, my first purchase of 2015. <3, 16,99€ quite expensive. But he's worth it. He is def. underrated. One of the best DSDS contestants ever.

    • I really like German language but somehow I often don't like songs with German lyrics and if I do, I quickly lose interest in them in many cases, less longevity than English songs

yes, I think he is one of the best DSDS contestants. so you bought the Premium/deluxe?
I am not trying to seduce you... Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

          • Midweek:

As we look ahead for the third chart weeks of 2015, we have to admit to be stunned. Mark Forster seems to have completely exploded now, since his first album "Karton" is creating some buzz now as well. If we go by projections "Bauch und Kopf" will hold on at #1, while "Karton" may indeed enter in the top 10, probably higher, though. Then we have a second German act to get initial airplay: Ardian Bujupi whose 2nd studio album "Ardicted" is heading for a top 10 debut as well.

Ardian Bujupi's second album "Ardicted" is projected to debut in the top 10 this week.

As a big Lindsey fan i have to say that it's Lindsey and not Lindsay though

                              Three week's A Charm

Mark Forster does it again. The German hitmaker continues to rack up most of the plays this week, the third consecutive time over 200 plays and gets it all in line, except for the Singles Chart crown which still belongs to the King himself, Robbie Williams. Williams and fellow mates from Take That increased a good lot this week and capture the remaining the top 3 positions on the Albums Chart as well. The only debut on the Albums Chart top 20 goes to Iceland with Björk debuting at #20. Her new album Vulnicura has only been available today, hence the relatively low debut for one of the biggest underdogs of the music circle.

                              1.(1) Robbie Williams - Bullet (43 plays)
                              2.(2) Mark Forster - Hallo (40 plays)

                                • The Edge is really good, also love both entering Take That and Mark Ronson songs

Not a fan of Sia's album, but it has some nice songs, album of Justin, Kylie and Ed are good, and I am sure that Elvis Greatest Hits for sure too
I am not trying to seduce you... Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

                                  • I really like these LAST.FM Alert posts! - Your lists are really interesting and I am glad to see Roman Lob & Frida Gold dominating the German list ;)
I've met Roman Lob twice and I've had short chats with him. He's really a lovely, friendly and very polite guy! (+ freaking handsome). It is a shame that his sophomore album flopped. - When it comes to Frida Gold, I usually love their singles (whereas I have never gotten into their album material) and I do not think that German lyrics are of a less value than English ones... I really think that it's the other way around.. if a song in German has dull lyrics, I won't like that track; whereas a good production/arrangement can make me fall in love with the dullest and stupidiest English track of all times (however, if an English track has amazing lyrics, its longevity is about to increase, of course).
Bosse & Revolverheld are listenable (especially the last one) & I like Ardian Bujupi as well. He's indeed underrated as an artist.
However, I have never liked Silbermond that much (just not a fan of Stefanie's voice).

I'm so jealous right now that you've met Roman Lob. I love him. I wrote him a FB message once.. (as you do as a fan) and he replied. So that was kind of cool. As for Frida, i've seen them twice in concert already (by accident) and loved them each time. Silbermond is just so special to me. I know that they are quite camp and seem dull to most people, but I love their melodies so much. Their second album blew me away.. and Himmel Auf was also really amazing. I love the song HImmel Auf really really much. Unendlich - by Silbermond - remains one of the best songs of all times - music-wise.

                                        Silbermond have three alltime evergreens:

                                        1. Unendlich
                                        2. Himmel Auf
                                        3. Krieger des Lichts

BTW, i met Johannes Strate once at a party in Hamburg, so since then i've become a massive Revolverheld supporter.

Roman was really nice. He was accompanied by his (beautiful) girlfriend and Thomas D (since I met him in Azerbaijan). We talked about Eurovision, partying and the weather haha So it was really just a bit smalltalk (and his girlfriend's question why so many gays seem to like Eurovision haha).
I even had the chance in taking a picture with him:

Cannot believe that it's almost three years ago! What's your top3 of his songs?
I think that mine looks like this:
                                            01 Standing Still (obviously)
                                            02 Drum Control

Did you enjoy Frida Gold's live performances? I've seen them live as the supporting act for Kylie at her Aphrodite Tour in Oberhausen but I wasn't that keen on her vocal skills (although I loved the tracks) However, I think that "Liebe ist meine Rebellion" is my alltime favourite by them. Cannot wait for another lead single!

                                              Wow, another amazing list!

First, I love to see Coldpay on top of it! I have to admit that I have never really aware of their material (apart from "Viva La Vida", "Fix You", "Princess of China" obviously) until "Ghost Stories". I listened to "Magic" for the first time 'cause it was part of a Bravo Hits compilation ( ), but the release of "A Sky Full Of Stars" made me curious (thank God that radio are kind of (over)playing them) so that I bought their album in the end & there's not a single bad or mediocre song on "Ghost Stories"... now I'm really thinking of trying their other albums out. What do you think; which album should I buy. Are their similar to "Ghost Stories" or completely different? What's your favourite album? - I am really a newbie when it comes to Coldplay (or even in that genre.... I have never been that interested in such band but after OneRepublic (and since I grow older ), it seems that I even enjoy more such bands, e.g. "Beautiful War" by Kings Of Leon is just beyond amazing & I love quite a lot tracks by The Killers as well (+Arctic Monkeys).

My Top 3 Roman tunes are:

                                                1. All That Matters
                                                2. Where are we now
                                                3. Day by Day

I love HOME so much. I bought both of his albums and love them both. He has amazing material. And he's always got such a sunny and captivating nature. Really likeable. I like Standing Still (but much like Lena) his post ESC singles slayed harder with me.

I love Frida Gold live. I've seen them once in Hanover at a N-Joy Radio-Summer-Party, my friend dragged me there because she loves Pitbull who was also performing. Frida Gold performed all of the songs from their then album: Juwel and they put together a great show. I was impressed.

Yes, I talked to Johannes too.. i didn't even know who he was, when my friend (not the Pitbull lover) made me aware of who he is. I said Hi. He was sitting there in this club - all alone. My friend addressed him first and asked for an autograph and then we talked about what he was doing there and who he was with and he said he was there with a friend and that it's just a regular night out (as you do in Hamburg). It was really cool. He was very nice.

Amazing pic, Sven. You are handsome too. And yes, what is it with gays and ESC? Haha. I don't know. I like the concept of countries voting for a song. It's exciting. I love ESC.
