I like to see "Find You" re-enter your chart again. This is maybe Nick's finest single. "Pray" <3 (is that a new peak?) is flawless as well. Can't wait to get his album and I love to see Marco Mengoni again. I think that Italy round of your game made you listen to him again ;)

I would love to love "The Star", but it's just SO heavy on the religious themes/imagery. I get that it's from a movie about the first Christmas, so that's not exactly shocking...but it does hurt the song's replay value for me She's served up some irresistible, iconic Christmas bops before, but this time she just went ALL-in with the "God is always with you" angle (which works for the movie, but not so much for me.)

Hey, your MC related #1's are FIRE!!! Great selection. Infinity only made it to #2 on my singles charts. The Brandon domination was too strong in 2015.

The Niall Horan album is better than I thought it'd be. The 1D boys are three for three for me with their solo LPs.

"The Star" is beautiful...in parts. It's obviously not the best thing MC's done, but her voice shines in certain moments, and I keep going back to the track to hear those golden moments.

"Pray" was a big step up from "Too Good at Goodbyes". It's good enough to make me consider checking out his new album when it's released.

This is so much better than The star i was really impressed when i checked this song out. It'd be great if this could somehow match the enduring quality of All i want for christmas is you. I am glad that you love Niall's album. It is truly amazing.

To the Mariah shade:

Mariah will indeed release a new christmas album this friday... however, it serves as the soundtrack to the animated feature film "All I want for Christmas Is You". It includes Lil' Snowman and a bunch of her other original christmas staples.

The Star is the leading soundtrack single off the soundtrack for the movie of the same name, The Star. It also is an animated christmas film by Disney with high profile voice actors such as Oprah Winfrey.

This year, Mariah is doing more than usually for her Christmas crown. She is going on a 20+ Christmas TOUR starting in a couple of days... which hits cities like New York, Las Vegas, London and Paris.

What can I say, she truly is the queen of Christmas and nobody does holiday music like her. Check out Lil' Snowman, it's divine.

Maroon 5 debuted that high and with such amazing numbers because they belong the group of AA Artists, Artists of the Highest Order. Their standing is due to their immense success and impact when they debuted, up until 2008. I cannot pick a favourite off the new album yet. Be assured that more songs will debut in the coming weeks.

As for Niall... he simply slayed me with his acoustic pop. The tie breaker is not decided by me, but by LastFM. I rank the songs exactly like LastFM does. They go by alphabetical order when 2 songs / albums have the same results. Which means that Lil Snowman drops to #2 this week.
