#6.(61) Beyoncé
2011 was her year. She's never been more successful on my chart.
#5.(re) Amy Winehouse
Her death brought her back to the top. She's currently ranked at #1 on the singles charts and her album peaked at the ultimate top position too. She's the second artist besides Michael Jackson to reach a year end top 5 position in the year of passing.
#4.(37) Coldplay
Coldplay scored 107 points last year and are the first artists in this ranking who reached 100 points or more. They still rank second on the alltime bands list but their ongoing success might push them to #1 again.
#3.(new) Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga was one of my hate artists back in 2008, 2009 and 2010. I would have never dreamed that she would reach the top 3 on this year's YE chart. Several hits off her #1 album Born This Way peaked at #1 this year, she's still up for the best newcomer award.
#2.(new) Will Young
Will Young was the most played artist of the past 3 months. He totally owned the 4th quarter and late summer period of 2011. He amassed 174 chart points which are only 14 points less than what the #1 act achieved. Will Young also scored the most played song of the year with Runaway and he completes the Double with Echoes, which became the #1 album of 2011.
#1.(6) Take That
Take That is the most played act of 2011. It's the first time the British boyband reaches the ultimate position on the year end chart. Take That had two major albums in 2011, Progress and Progressed. Without Progressed they would have still ranked third this year which shows how massive they were. They are currently ranked #1 on the alltime bands acts.My Chart

Love the Marry The Ngiht's re-entry! Ah, it was soo close to the top spot...
Nice to see the Born This Way album also re-entering your chart at the second highest spot. Don't know if there's any chance of topping your chart by Gaga next week, but I hope so!
