          • Not Emeli slaying with those live tracks! My personal favorite from her Live at the Royal Albert Hall album is the "Breaking the Law" performance! I love how she switches to the alternate version when the 2nd verse kicked in.

And great to see AH top your chart for 3 weeks!

I think it's very different. It had no outstanding song at first listen. I was shocked. But it's a grower. It has some great songs on it.. but the album is quieter and if it's even possible much more mainstream.

                                          Deutsch

It cannot be emphasized enough that this week, another German artist topped my most important chart, the albums chart. Bosse is a German singer-songwriter with a hand for elaborated and intelligent lyrics as well as heartfelt musical compositions. "Alter Affe Angst" (Age Ape Angst in translation) is on the way to become one of my alltime favourite German songs. It's so moving and lyrically outstanding and that while it rejects the coat of being a ballad. However, Mariah Carey's Almost Home ends its 4th consecutive (and most likely final) week at #1. New albums this week come from Justin Timberlake and Hurts. Justin Timberlake is my 11th most successful and most played artist since I compile my chart. It was a huge surprise seeing him in the runner-up position this week. His previous album was a straight #1 runner and currently ranks 3rd on my alltimes most played albums list. The other entry comes from Hurts, who had a massive hit with Wonderful Life, which topped my chart for three weeks in 2011. Another shock this week is the relatively low position of OneRepublic's album Native. 2013 might be the year which sees several of my former favourites underperforming. This year seems to be a hard one for established artists and gives more airtime to newentries.

I think it's very different. It had no outstanding song at first listen. I was shocked. But it's a grower. It has some great songs on it.. but the album is quieter and if it's even possible much more mainstream.
Oh Gosh, that makes me kinda afraid. So there's no "Say (All I Need)" or "Secrets" on the album?

I'm not into Bosse at all, but I'm glad to see some tracks by Hurts on your chart. Personally, I think that their 2nd album is pretty amazing. Do you like "Cupid"? Think it's my favourite song (so far).
