So glad to see Ed's "I See Fire" being that high. It's a stunning ballad!

Midweek Chart: 2014 got its first real #1 battle this week. In the first corner we have last week's smashing debutants Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip whose album Repent Replenish Repeat is setting the airwaves on fire. And in the other corner we have another British newby called Katy B whose new dance-ballad Crying for no Reason became the biggest growing song of yesterday and the majority of today.
Here is what the midweek top 10 looks like:
01 NE Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip & Flux Pavilion - Gold Teeth
02 NE Katy B - Crying for no Reason
03 01 Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - You will see Me
04 02 Pharrell Williams - Happy
05 03 Vampire Weekend - Hanna Hunt
06 NE Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - Porter
07 04 Bruce Springsteen - American Skin (41 Shots)
08 NE Kylie Minogue - Into The Blue
09 NE Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - My Oh My
10 NE Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - Heroism
If Kylie keeps this top 10 placing, the song would be her first ever lead single to debut in my singles chart in the week of release. Previously, Kylie had one highly successful era with the X album. Unfortunately, I did not compile my singles chart back then.My Chart

Wooo for Katy B, will probably be inmy top5 this week too! My Oh My is great, though not one of my favorites from the album. Zedd's new one is a disappointment, as was Stay The Night, which is a shame as I had high hopes for him.

MPSA #6 of 2014
Katy B finally gets her first #1 song on my chart. The British beauty was simply unstoppable. Although, it was the beginning of the tracking week that helped her most to get this #1 as in later stages of the week it was either Clean Bandit or Foxes and Gorgon City to totally outrun her, but it wasn't enough. Glee comes back with two great cover songs. Let it Be actually became the most played track of thursday. Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip continue to reign the albums chart with a 50% lead over Bruce who remains at #2.

Midweek:
Cast on the Run
The Cast of Fox' hit show Glee has once again surpassed all expectations with yet another cover of a current hit song. Their rendition of Ylvis' recent breakthrough hit The Fox is on the run to give them their 5th overall #1 single. The Fox is not the only song which makes headlines. The Nasty/Rhythm Nation cover along Let it Be could all make the top 10 next week. That would be the cast's best charting week ever. Glee remains the act with the most individual tracks charting in the top 20. However, most of their songs only chart for one week.
