(!) rule change, full leaked albums are now allowed to chart. Memoirs will be the first charting album without an official physical or digital release. This is the week with most new-entries in the 6 year chart history.
Mariah celebrates her 9th chart topping album on the most played albums chart. As predicted this is the first charting album without being currently released on any format. The BEP suffer a 81% spin decrease this week. Live at Knewbworth is yet another album I listen too to shorten the time until his new album gets released.

10. 07 *WILLIAMS ROBBIE* Live at Knebworth (!) Memoirs is still leading the spins chart, spins are still rising, this friday the album will be released in Germany. Celine Dion is surprisingly holding on strong. Nelly Furtado has so far lost almost 30% of its spins (7 day span comparision), Celebration is now with only 7 spins behind.
Never Forget is my ultimate favourit song of the decade. I was a major fan of the band back in 1995. Nobody Else was my first album by a band and one of the first 10 discs I've ever bought.
2. Mariah Carey - Close my Eyes
This song is the most personal for me. Mariah speaks the words I could have never found to describe me. The Butterfly album is the purest musical piece I know. I thank Mariah Carey for this song, which became my personal theme.
3. Whitney Houston - I will always love you
This was the very first song, that I remember that I called my alltime favourit. Whitney Houston is the voice and this song is her trademark ballad and I was addicted to it and I think that it's decade defining.
4. Michael Jackson - Will you be There
When I first watched the movie Free Willy in 1993 (I think) I only remember 2 things. The jump of the whale in the end and the end titel theme by Michael Jackson. And I was enchanted by the piano-line. I think that this song is the best he's ever written and it's personal and emotional which takes it to another level.
5. Bruce Springsteen - Streets of Philadelphia
Not only did I cry when I watched the incredible performance of Tom Hanks in the movie PHiladelphia I did also cry when I listened to the Soundtrack. And this song by Bruce Springsteen transports the deep emotions and the pain that the main character of the movie went through. The song will always remind me how prizeless health is.
6. Boyzone - A Different Beat
I never was a fan of Boyzone as much as I admired (and still do) Take That. I discovered the song as early as 2004 and I was astonished by the emotions that it caused in me. I really fell in love with it and I think that it's the best of the 90's alongside the other top 10 entries.
7. Mariah Carey - The Roof
Once again Miss Mariah has contributed another masterpiece that defines my musical soul. I love the dark side of this song so much. The Roof is also musicially brilliant.
8. Celine Dion - It's all coming back to me now
Celine Dion was always the one who stole the crown from Mariah back in 1997 with the whole Titanic era. I discovered her with the songs Think Twice, which still is one of my alltime favourit songs. But It's all coming back to me now is so well written and such a difficult song with complex structures that you really need to listen to it carefully to fall in love with it. I gave my best and it worked out.
9. Oasis - Live Forever
I got to know Oasis when the Gallagher brothers had a feud with Robbie Williams back in 1998-1999. I never paid so much attention to them, until i heard their Unplugged concert and I fell in love with Live Forever which, live sung, is a far better song than the also brilliant wonderwall.
10. Whitney Houston - My love is your Love
My love is your love was Whitneys huge comeback in the end of the decade and I was a bit sceptical. I didn't follow her career so much between this record and the Bodyguard. But when I first heard My LOve is your Love I knew that Whitney did it again. She once again sings a theme to my life which always will accompany me whatever direction my life will take.
