Robbie Williams and Take That fought it out for the #1 position this week. Robbie Williams who single-handedly is the biggest male solo artist of all times on my chart, debuts straight at #1 on the albums chart with a compilation of previously unreleased material. Since the inception of this chart - which will soon close its doors forever - Robbie made it to #1 with all of his releases from the point of 2003's Live at Knebworth. He was probably ranked at #1 at the same week last year with his second Swing Album. Take That drop to #2, but remain a force with outstanding spins.

Yep, RW and TT are my passion. Became a TT fan in 1995. I was one of those fan girls... As for Robbie, I began to slowly like him with Let Me Entertain You, Strong and Millennium. I then became a hardcore stan during the Sing when you're winning era. Kids >>>

Paolo: 7 weeks at #1 with Iron Sky, + 4 weeks for Caustic Love and 4 weeks for Sunny Side Up... Had Mariah not released her album, he would have dominated even more. He would have probably gotten another #1 single or 2. The fact that Shakira grabbed the #1 spot during his Sunny Side Up reign still shocks me. That Shakira album vanished quickly while Sunny Side Up for example became one of my 15 most scrobbled albums ever. (Caustic Love is #2).

You're why I Fell In Love and that's why it hurts

Robbie Williams takes the pole position on the singles charts this week with last week's runner-up "Bullet". With over 140 scrobbles, the song became one of the biggest streaming hits of the year. With just a little less streams, Take That's "Do It All For Love" has settled for the #2 position this week. Both songs obliterated the nearest competition, though. With only 1 scrobble difference, Take That re-gain the #1 position from Robbie Williams. Nicki Minaj makes a good entry at #3 - considering the competition above. Hozier and One Direction continue to fight for the mid-range positions that Take That and Robbie Williams leave open. "Hozier" and "Four" have both obtained a Platinum Award for exceeding the 500 scrobbles mark.

Goodbye MPSA

With today's issue, the MPSA chart will close its doors. But it goes on a high and with one of the biggest stars of the past 10 Years completing the Double. Robbie Williams - the chart's second biggest act of its entire 10 years - advances to no. #1 on the albums chart and therefore holds both poles this week. Bullet stayed ahead of Do It All For Love and turned the album's fate round to beat former bandmates' platinum release III.
