the new album by the script is fantastic too. pop-galore at its finest. I can highly recommend it... it'd also look great in your CD collection.

      • Hey stevyy

So i've not actually heard Wonderful wonderful or Now aside from the singles. I will have to see if any of these songs are on YouTube and give them a listen.

11.(new) Shania Twain - Poor Me (18 plays)
13.(15) The Killers - The Man (16 plays)
        16.(12) Imagine Dragons - Thunder (14 plays)

Wow, you really must love Thunder if it can remain top 20 despite all The Killers and Shania Twain dominance.

        • Not often I post in Personal Charts, but you get a post of support given you've listened to King Roy.

            • I love those certification plaques! Did you make those using last.fm, or just added their logo yourself?

              • I haven't checked out Wonderful Wonderful or Now Sam's Town was actually the last Killers album I picked up (can't believe that was over a decade ago!) "Read My Mind" = <3
              • "Thunder" is definitely my favorite of the Evolve singles thus far, so it's been great watching it (finally) take off in the US lately! I'd love to see it become as big as (or even bigger than) "Believer." **Fingers crossed**
Double Dutchess is your highest-charting album that I've heard in full, so I'm glad it held strong in its second week (even though none of its tracks have cracked your Top 20 since its release) Granted, it looks like The Killers + Shania are some pretty stiff competition. Which DD songs have kept you coming back the most so far?

              Yet another killer chart, stevyy!

Hehe, I listened to it on Spotify and it's indeed quite alright. It remidns me a bit of Lawson at some point... I don't think I will buy it before its price gets reduced but oh well, sometimes I need some time to fully appreciate albums by male artists (the female singlers' albums are usually way more front-loaded)

                          • I'm getting so jealous at the high numbers of plays of each artist
Marco Mengoni having reached 10,000 plays is absolutely incredible. He's truly a king on his own.

The Killers will clearly have reached your Top 10 by the end of this year and I'm looking foward to it! So talented!

It's nice to see some underrated artists having made your Top 50 like WIll Young, Il Volo, Olly Murs and somehow even Zayn (his debut album was excellent!)

When it comes to your new chart, there's not much to say. The Killers are still smashing (which was obvious, predictable but it is also very much justified) but I am very happy that in all "The Killers madness" Sam Smith was still able to get a great debut. "Pray" is stunning.

Indeed. Marco smashed so hard in 2015 and 2016 with his 3 consecutive releases in those 2 years. Both of his studio albums were HUGE in the biggest sense of the word. Guerriero is one of my lifetime songs now. I cannot say how surprised even I am by his slayage. Never not ever would I have thought that a former ESC contestant would rank in my top 3 - alltime. He deserves it. He works so hard and he releases fantastic albums, truely great music.

Can they, though? The top 10? That's going to be tough. The problem is that in the second anyone from the top 15 releases a new album, and it is good, they are all threats to push through to the top 5.

Il Volo falls in the category as Marco. They are so outstanding. Their Xmas album will def give Mariah a run for her money this year. (Last year they beat her).

Absolutely, The Killers smashing is unstoppable at the moment. Can they join Robbie/Take That in the category of group + solo artist in the top 10 - alltime? The Beatles + Lennon are also a threat. I think Niall/Zayn/Liam + One Direction will also go hard in that respect. Niall's album is due next week. I am beyond excited.

                                          • Awesome that "Thunder" is the clear play-count-champ of the Evolve singles I've started to slightly warm up to "Believer" lately. I'm still not a huge fan of that chanty/shouty chorus, but the "inhibited, limited..." part is worth coming back for.
                                          • Ah, so "Love Is Pain" and "Hungry" are some of your Double Dutchess faves. I'd probably like "Love Is Pain" even more if it were edited down just a tad (especially that lengthy outro...)
                                          • Glad to see The Spirit Room on your albums chart! Miley's new LP actually put Michelle on my mind, so I was revisiting her first two albums the other week. The singles are really nostalgic (especially "Everywhere" and "All You Wanted", since those were on the radio all the damn time), but both albums still have a lot to offer beyond their hits.

                                          Yet another lethal chart, stevyy!

                                                • I had no clue Mariah Carey has a new single out. I know she's a legend and an icon and one of your favourite artists of all-time but honestly, I can't even name 10 songs by her... I know "Triumphant" (which I bought on iTunes and enjoyed for some time), "Touch My Body", "We Belong Together", "I Like It" (or something like that, she looked glamorous in the music video and was in a fancy hotel or club, can't remember) and "When You Believe" with the amazing Whitney. And of course, her Christmas anthem. If I ever find her Greatest Hits record for 1 or 2 Euros somehwere, I think I will buy it to try to get into her.

I like to see "Find You" re-enter your chart again. This is maybe Nick's finest single. "Pray" <3 (is that a new peak?) is flawless as well. Can't wait to get his album and I love to see Marco Mengoni again. I think that Italy round of your game made you listen to him again ;)

You are a saint/mega-lamb for sending all of those offerings all the way to No. 1! I ADORE Mariah, but a lot of her output this decade has left me a little underwhelmed (especially the soundtrack and standalone singles.) Her Paulboard No. 1's in the 2010's have been:

                                                    02.28.10 - "Angels Cry (Remix)" (1 week)
                                                    10.03.10 - "Oh Santa!" (1 week)
08.12.12 - "Triumphant (Pulse Remix Extended)" (1 week)
                                                    05.12.13 - "#Beautiful" (2 weeks)
                                                    02.16.14 - "You're Mine (Eternal)" (1 week)
                                                    05.03.15 - "Infinity" (1 week)

Speaking of "Infinity", that one's not included in your list, so where did it peak here? I don't see "Dedicated" either, which is one of my absolute faves from MIAM (possibly even out-ranking "#Beautiful", though it did stall at No. 2 on my weekly chart.)

I would love to love "The Star", but it's just SO heavy on the religious themes/imagery. I get that it's from a movie about the first Christmas, so that's not exactly shocking...but it does hurt the song's replay value for me She's served up some irresistible, iconic Christmas bops before, but this time she just went ALL-in with the "God is always with you" angle (which works for the movie, but not so much for me.)
