MPS/A #51 of 2012
The kettle is steaming
Robbie Williams returns to the #1 this week on both the singles and albums chart, fueled by both a new physical single which provides 4 new additional songs to the Crown album and a new three-disc live set from his successful comeback concerts in the UK. Alicia pulled on, what it seems, her last strings to stay ahead of Olly Murs and continues her successful run inside the top 2 (4 consecutive weeks now).
One week left! Who will be this year's top Artist? Who takes the albums and singles crowns?

Year End Chart: Top Artists of 2012: Top 80 of 89 artists that reached my top albums chart
#80.(re) Elton John
Elton John received 3 points last year. His Greatest Hits album was the only title of his to reach the top 10 in 2012. He's an impeccable songwriter and huge legend. It's his first re-entry on the year end countdown since 2008, where he reached #36.
#79.(new) Jupiter Jones
Jupiter Jones are a German band that reached my albums chart for the first time in summer of 2012. Still was a top 10 hit for them.
#78.(re) Paul McCartney
Sir Paul had no luck this time. His 2012 release Kisses on the Bottom was a minor success. Paul peaked at #11 on the year end countdown of 2006.
#77.(new) Jean-Michel Aweh
Jean-Michel Aweh is the newest winner of Das Supertalent. His voice is fragile, soft and incredibly haunting. Raus aus dem Nebel was a top 5 hit on my chart.
#76.(new) Donna Summer
Miss Summer passed away in 2012. Her death made me curious about the girl from the 70's that left so many classic disco songs. She was a great icon. Donna Summer collected 4 points in 2012.
#75.(100) MGMT
Electro princes MGMT rise some considerable positions this year. Time To Pretend is their most memorable song and a classic. It reached my top 20 this year.
#74.(27) Limp Bizkit
LB are not much liked on UKmix. Nevertheless, I stan for them. 2012 wasn't a kind year for them. Gold Cobra couldn't maintain its run in 2012. Fred Durst is still hot, though.
#73.(37) Ardian Bujupi
In 2011 he was voted 4th on German Idol (Deutschland sucht den Superstar). He still remains one of the most successful German casting show stars on my chart. If only his music had a little more substance. He does have a phenomenal voice.
#72.(new) Cro
Who is Cro? Cro is a new German rapper, who's face remained a mystery up until late december 2012 because he wore a panda bear mask at all his appearances. His album Raop reached the top in the last charting week of 2012. Enough to place him in the top 75.
#71.(19) The Black eyed Peas
At first I hated Will-I-Who and co. very much then they released The E.N.D. and they finally became superstars in my world. The album was a monstrous smash, topping my chart for 9 weeks, becoming the 6th longest running #1 album of all times. I Just Can't get enough was their biggest hit 2012.
#70.(new) Beach House
Beach House are a band I was introduced to by UKmix. Sometimes I do listen to what's incredibly outstanding. The atmospheric song Myth was their biggest hit this year. They collected 5 charting points 2012.
#69.(new) The Lonely Island
What began as a prank was actually pretty awesome. Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake aren't only incredibly hot, they also sound mighty awesome together. TLI are the highest ranked comedy entry of the year.My Chart
