      • I hope "Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)" will be your #1 of 2012 since it`s the best song IMO but I doubt it...

                          • Year End Chart: Top Artists of 2012: Top 80 of 89 artists that reached my top albums chart

                            #68.(re) Clueso

Clueso is a German singer-songwriter whose songs are well developed and lyrically profound so that they reach your heart and soul. Clueso peaked at #24 on this countdown in 2008.

                            #67.(new) The XX

The XX delivered big time with they song "Intro" from their debut album. The song re-peaked this year and is one of the greatest gainers catalogue songs on my charts. Coexist and their debut album reached my top 10 in 2012.

                            #66.(32) One Republic

One Republic rank among the greatest and most successful bands on my chart's history. Dreaming out loud and Waking up both reached my top 10 in 2012. Their biggest hit remains to be Say (All I Need).

                            #65.(new) Gary Go

Gary Go is among a special group of artists that have not really broken into my chart but that have one of my alltime favourite songs. Wonderful is a masterpiece, a truely outstanding effort.

                            #64.(new) Gotye

I actually bought his 2011 hit album a few days ago and love it. However, Gotye hasn't made much of an impact in 2012. Somebody that I used to know was a minimal hit, overshadowed by a very prominent cover of a television cast.

                            #63.(new) Steel Panther

I think this is a surprise. In October 2012 I attended their concert in Hamburg and it was outstandingly hilarious. They are a parody of all that was ever great of Heavy Metal.

                            #62.(41) Sia

Queen Sia is slightly down in 2012 from her peak in 2011. Breathe Me and Lullaby are outstanding super smash hits, that I can listen to on repeat. She's an impeccable songwriter. Oh Father was her biggest hit in 2012. We are born reached my albums chart.

                            #61.(re) Alexi Murdoch

12 still remains his biggest hit. It has become a timeless classic. Alexi peaked at #44 on this countdown in 2010.

                            #60.(86) Billy Joel

Billy Joel had so many evergreens, no wonder I'm addicted to his best of album which is a soundtrack of classic songs in its own right. Leningrad is his signature song on my chart. He collected 8 charting points in 2012.

Cool to see Gary Go. His "Wonderful" did a great job for Eurovision 2011 in Düsseldorf and he was a great supporting act for Lady GaGa in 2009.

And I'm impressed that "If I Lose Myself" already re-enters your chart, whereas it hasn't debuted on most chart yet, since it's fairly new.

                                                #59.(new) Paul Simon

Paul Simon is one of the greatest music icons of all times. It wasn't until 2012 that he made his musical debut on my chart.

                                                #58.(new) James Vincent McMorrow

Thank You Vampire's Diary for introducing me to one of the best new singer-songwriters. His song We don't eat was and still is a huge hit in my world. Early in the morning collected 8 charting points.

                                                #57.(28) Bruno Mars

In 2012 he ended his Hooligans era and dived right into the Jukebox era. Bruno Mars is currently featured in my second edition of 2013 with Unorthodox Jukebox. Gorilla is the biggest hit from that era so far.

                                                #56.(10) Kanye West

Kanye is a consistent ear end entry. The rap-star is one of my alltime favourite male artists. Currently ranking 5th on my alltime favourite male artists list.
