Yay for Britney crossing the one hundred plays plateau. She should be closer to one thousand though.

I'm not crazy about Beyoncé's new album but "XO" and "Pretty Hurts" are highlights. Where's "Partition" though? Great to see "'Til It's Gone" enter. It's the best song on Britney Jean, in my opinion.

What are your favourite tracks after a month now?

I'm still mighty obsessed with Bad Guy. The song must be my alltime favourite rap song now. The ending gets me so deep, the rhymes are so raw, emotional, the whole songs is so epic. My latest obsession is Wicked Ways.. i don't what it is, but the production captivates me.

Monther, Beautiful Pain, Headlights, So Far and Love Game remain my absolute faves. It's still that when I play the album I discover new things. And that's what keeps it so fresh.

LastFM Alert:

"Don't go for second best, baby", is a famous line from Madonna's smash hit "Express Yourself", and as of today, the Material Girl materialised herself as the second female solo artist to cross 1,000+ plays on LastFm (sixth overall artist). It was an exciting journey. She made headlines last year when her MDNA album drew in big numbers. The album is listed as the 10th most played album since the inauguration of LastFM in 2011. The album marked the moment when the 1,000 plays threshold seemed to be a reality she would sooner or later pass. "I'm Addicted" - one of the album's unreleased tracks became the biggest hit on the chart, amassing 107 spins on LastFM alone.

Christmas Cheer

Christmas has once again sneaked into my chart this season. Michael, Bublé, Josh Groban and Mariah Carey are this year's christma troopers, sharing the biggest part of the cake or should I say Mistletoe?! A few other acts snuggled in as well. Beyoncé becomes the 4th quarter queen. No one could actually come close to her second week. The continues to smash the albums and singles chart with ease. Also German pop-rockers Sportfreunde Stiller have something to be happy about. Their 2013 album New York, Rio, Rosenheim debuts straight in the top 3. It's their first and highest entry so far. Robbie stays stable at #4 despite lacking a sinles chart entry. However, he amassed so many plays, that almost his entire Swing album tracks bubble under this week.
