Alicia Keys scored the alltime first #1 album on the MPA on the first edition back in 2004 with the diary of alicia keys. Since then she became one of my alltime favourite singers. Her albums basically debut at #1 and become huge successes. As I am, her previous release, currently is the #18th most played album of all times. The element of freedom only starts at #6 because of a delayed start, but it was the most played album yesterday and it looks like it may jump several spots tomorrow, too. Ronan Keating stays the artist with the most played xmas release today.

    --BONUS--
The Fame by Lady Gaga peaked at #26- 3 weeks ago, it stayed in the top 30 of the MPA chart for 2 weeks. The Fame Monster still has to debut on the chart.

(!) It was the closest race between the #1 and #2 album this week. Alicia comes in at #2, because her album went for spins on monday, while reality enjoyed being spinned from friday-thursday. Nsync debut on the most played albums list in one of the last weeks of the decade. It is the most played christmas album for the current week.
