The top 5 are completely static this week, meaning Camila Cabello gets her 7th week on top in total with "Don't Go Yet". There are new top 10 peaks for Felix Jaehn, at no.6, now a place higher than "Cheerleader" made, so giving him his biggest hit to date. Anne-Marie is also up at no.7 with "Kiss My". The weeks highest new entry is no stranger to my chart as "Like That" becomes a 43rd chart entry for Inna, a decade since "Sun Is Up" gave her a no.3 debut. It is her 19th top 10 hit in all. With a similar amount of hits, Lady Gaga gets her 49th this week with "Let's Do It", she first charted with the no.6 "Just Dance" in 2008 and makes this her 28th top 10.

Jason DeRulo is close to the top 10 now as "Acapulco" about turns to no.11, while Soda State also reaches a new peak of no.13. Established acts are leading the way this week as Ne-Yo returns at no.14 with "What If". The 8 time chart topper gets his first entry as lead artist since "Push Back" made no.7 back in 2018. Mahalia peaked in 2019 when "Simmer" made no.2, now her 6th entry, "Roadside" is her second biggest hit as it enters at no.15, also giving AJ Tracey his third, and so far biggest hit.

Hot on the heels of chart topping "Higher Power", the weeks longest runner in its 22nd week, "My Universe" is the latest entry from Coldplay at no.26, also giving BTS their first entry. The 9th entry for Agnes is "Here Comes The Night" at no.27. She peaked twice at no.5, with "Nothing Can Compare" in 2019 and "24 Hours" earlier this year. Portugal The Man get their first entry with a cover of "Steal My Sunshine" at no.29, the 1999 top 5 hit for Len also made no.17 for Lenka last year.

Brandi Carlile returns 6 places higher than first time around with "Right On Time" at no.31, Earth, Wind & Fire return after 21 years as "You Want My Love" is new at no.36, also giving Lucky Daye a fourth entry. CL topped my chart in 2016 with "Lifted" and then disappeared, she finally follows it up with "Lover Like Me" at no.37. Also Tokischa and Rosalia both get their first entry.

Camila Cabello holds on to the top again this week for an 8th week in total and an 11th consecutive week in my top 3. Inna climbs to no.2 with "Like That", her highest position since "Discoteka" did the same last year. WizKid also continues to climb and is now no.3 and Jason DeRulo has a 15th top 10 hit as "Acapulco" moves up to no.9. The weeks highest new entry is for Elton John who returns at no.11 with "Finish Line", he is now close to having 2 concurrent top 10 hits. He has previously topped my chart with "Written in The Stars" in 1999 and "Good Morning To The Night" in 2012. In the process it gives Charlie Puth his fourth and by far highest charting hit so far, he previously peaked at no.31 featured on Lennon Stella's "Summer Feeling" last year while "How Long" made no.35 and "Attention" no.48.

Soda State, Coldplay, Agnes and Brandi Carlile are all pushing towards my top 10. Maneskin get their third entry, "Mammamia" at no.26. They peaked with Eurovision winning "Zitti E Buoni" which made no.4. The Anxiety make their debut with "Meet Me At Our Spot" at no.27, which also gives Willow Smith her 7th entry. Kelly Clarkson scores the first Christmas hit of the year, a little earlier than usual at no.36. "Christmas Isn't Cancelled" is her third festive entry, following "Oh Holy Night" which made no.4 and "Christmas Eve" which made no.45.

Clean Bandit get their 20th hit by remixing Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know", Tinie Tempah gets a 22nd hit, Fickle Friends an 8th and Dusky a second.

The top 10 is full of long running songs this week, with half the top 10 at least in their 9th week and all but 2 of the top 10 at least 7 weeks in. Leading the way this week there's a switch around for the top 2 as Inna finally picks up her third number one, 7 years after she was last there with "Body And The Sun". "Like That" dethroning Camila Cabello after three weeks there this time. The highest new entry comes in at no.4 for Coldplay, "Let Somebody Go" as their "My Universe" also moves up to no.12. They are now close to making this their first album since "A Rush Of Blood..." to score three top 10 hits on my chart. It also gives Selena Gomez her 8th chart appearance, all three of her top 10s being collaborations. Also in the top 10, "Acapulco" moves to a new peak of no.6 for Jason DeRulo, now his highest position since "Colors" made no.2 in 2018.

Also new to the top 20 this week, Adele is back with "Easy On Me" at no.19. Her 17th appearance in all, her first hit in 5 years and highest position since "When We Were Young" made no.9 in 2016. She topped my charts once, with her first appearance, "Chasing Pavements" in 2008.

Since making no.20 with their 2019 Eurovision song, "Spirit In The Sky", Keiino now have a third hit as "End of Time" enters at no.23, their debut still being their highest position so far. Just behind at no.24 is "Cheque" for Don Diablo who makes this his 11th appearance, 6 years since he first charted with "Got The Love", His only top 10 to date was a no.1, "Survive" in 2018. Claptone get their fourth entry, all from their current album as "Right Into You" enters at no.30, their last single, "Wake Up" gave them a no.10 peak.

15 years since back to back number ones with his first 2 singles, "You Give me Something" and "Wonderful World", James Morrison picks up a 14th entry with "Who's Gonna Love Me Now?" at no.35. His last three entries were all top 10s, "I Need You Tonight" (no.6) and "So Beautiful" and "My Love Goes On" (both no.7).

KT Tunstalls "Tiger Suit" album is now 10 years old, it scored three chart entries and peaked with "Lost", at no.14. Now a re-release with a title track sees "Tiger Suit" enter at no.38, she last appeared on "Starlight & Gold", making no.32 last year and peaked in 2005 when "Other Side Of The World" made no.2.

Also this week, a 6th appearance for Nina Nesbitt, a fourth for Why Don't We and second for Brendan Murray.

Uh oh. After a week off, Camila Cabello is back on top with "Don't Go Yet". A 9th week at the top in total in her third spell at the top. Closing in on her are Coldplay, now at no.3 with the highest of three current hits, "Let Somebody Go", while Jason DeRulo now has his 8th top 5 hit, "Acapulco" at no.5. Elton John is up to no.9 to get a second top 10 hit from his latest album. "Finish Line" also becomes the very first top 10 hit for Charlie Puth. The weeks highest new entry comes in at no.10 for The Knocks. "River". Their third top 10, but first as lead artist. They were on Idris Elba's no.1 "One Fine Day" last year. Their 13th entry overall.

Afrojack picked up his second chart topper, "Hero" earlier this year. Now his 20th entry in all, "Anywhere With You" enters at no.13, it also gives Lucas & Steve their 14th entry and Dubvision a second. Tina Arena topped my chart in 2003 with "Never (Past Tense)" and last appeared in 2015 when "Overload" made no.40. Now her version of "This Womans Work (Live)" is new at no.15. The 23rd entry for Justin Bieber is "Ghost", new at no.20 and "Dopamine" is the 8th entry for Purple Disco Machine at no.21. Only "Fireworks" outpeaks it, making no.8 earlier this year.

Richard Ashcroft has been absent since 2006, the year he got his biggest hit, "Music Is Power", a no.4. Now "This Thing Called Life" starts at no.27. "Dancing Cliche" is the first hit for LF System at no.30 and no.32 is the first entry for Walker Hayes, "Fancy Like", which also gives Kesha an 11th hit.

Other familiar faces new this week, Nervo get a 10th hit, Diplo a 16th, Paul Woolford a fourth, Karren Lomax a second and JP Cooper a 6th.

She would stand around after she had set the table and listen to the family give, in unison, thanks to the long-haired man whose gaze always turned upward – probably because he couldn’t bear to see the havoc wreaked in his name.

This weeks number one is the fifth for Coldplay. "Let Somebody Go" follows "Higher Power" to the top, to be the second time they have a pair of number ones from one album, previously they did it with both "Adventures Of A Lifetime" and "Everglow". Their other number one being 2008's "Violet Hill". It also provides Selena Gomez her third chart topper, the others also collaborations, both with DJ Snake on "Taki Taki" and "Selfish Love".

Ne-Yo is now up to no.4 with "Whst If" to give him his first top 5 since "Another Love Song" topped my chart in 2017. The Knocks also climb to a new peak of no.8 with "River". The weeks highest new entry is one of two new entries from the soundtrack to "The Harder They Fall". It's "King Kong Riddim" for once frequent chart regular, Jay-Z, his first entry since "The Story Of OJ" made no.35 in 2017, and his first top 10 since appearing on Justin Timberlake's no.3 "Suit and Tie" in 2013 and his first top 10 as lead artist since "Otis" made no.3 a decade ago.

Since making no.3 on his debut, "This Girl" in 2016, Kungs now has his 7th hit with "Lipstick" and it's the closest he's got so far to getting a second top 10 as it enters at no.12. "Oh Na Na" is the debut for Myke Towers, new at no.15, it also gives Camila Cabello a 10th hit and Tainy a third. Hot on the heels of "End Of Time", Keiino now enter at the same place, no.23 with fourth hit, "Venus". Macklemore topped my chart with both "Downtown" and "Thrift Shop", now after a 5 year absence, his 13th entry, "Next Year" is new at no.28.

The title track from "The Harder They Fall" gives Koffee her second and so far biggest hit as it enters at no.30. The 7th hit for Foxes is "Sister Ray" new at no.34, she topped my chart with "Body Talk" in 2015. Three time chart topper, DJ Snake is back with 8th hit "SG" at no.35. Also giving Ozuna his fourth entry and both Lisa and Megan Thee Stallion their first. Also this week, a fifth hit for KC Lights, a second for Maggie Lindemann and 6th for Jack Wins.

Well it's been an age since the top end of my chart had so many new entries, but this week, it's an all new top 4. Leading the way, after reaching no.29 with both of his first 2 singles, Shane Codd is third time lucky as "It Ain't Right" is straight in above three former number one acts. Bruno Mars & Anderson Paak get their third entry as Silk Sonic and it's a third top 5, following chart topping "Skate" and no.5 "Leave the Door Open". As their career as a group appears to be drawing to a close, Little Mix have had a pretty strong run on my chart with their fourth top 10 of the year, "Between Us" going in at no.3, their 28th hit in all, it makes an 11th top 10. Sigrid gets both her fourth and fifth top 10 entry this week as "Burning Bridges" moves up to a new peak of no.10 and "Home To You (This Christmas)" starts at no.4 to give her a 6th chart entry in total. Despite the new entries, The Knocks still improve at no.7 while Myke Towers, The Anxiety and Purple Disco Machine all push towards my top 10.

Charting most weeks, Inna is back once more with "Up" at no.13, to give her a 44th hit to date. A quick correction which I hadn't been picked up on but "Finish Line" is finally credited correctly to Elton John and Stevie Wonder, which means Charlie Puth goes back to having only 3 charting hits with a peak of no.31.

"Waiting For Nothing" is new at no.29, the first entry for Hayden James. And former no.1 from 2000, "Groovejet" returns at no.30, now remixed by Purple Disco Machine to give them a 9th entry in all. For Spiller, it's his first hit since "Pigeonmans Revenge" made no.41 a full decade ago. Tiesto had back to back number ones with "Cmon" and "What Can We Do" in 2011, but has been absent since "Carry You Home" made no.40 in 2017. Now back with "The Motto" at no.31, it also provides Ava Max with her 8th entry. "Santa Vists Everyone" is now a fourth charting hit from Sia's "Everyday Is Christmas" album thanks to a re-release as it charts at no.32. "Candy Cane Lane" gave the album its peak making no.18 back in 2017.

Also this week, Franz Ferdinand chart for the first time since 2009 while Foals chart for the very first time ever (!!). A collaboration gives Charli XCX an 11th entry, Christine And The Queens a fourth and Caroline Polachek a second and there's dance debuts for Surrender and Hybrid Minds.

She would stand around after she had set the table and listen to the family give, in unison, thanks to the long-haired man whose gaze always turned upward – probably because he couldn’t bear to see the havoc wreaked in his name.

                        • Wow, I had no idea that Camila's song resonated so strong with you!

Franz Ferdinand's song is cute, and I love everything Silk Sonic, and I approve of Christmas in your top four.

Not sure that #1 does much for me today - maybe if there was disco ball around here.

Shane Codd has his second week on top, as Sigrid climbs to no.2. The weeks highest new entry comes from Faouzia. Her second hit, "Puppet" is new at no.4, easily going higher than "Minefields" which made no.39 earlier in the year. Tracy De Sa is in at no.6 with her first entry, "Big Shot" and Myke Towers moves to no.9 with "Oh Na Na" to give Camila Cabello a fifth top 10 and Tainy a second.

Avril Lavigne has topped my chart twice, first with "Nobody's Home" in 2004 and then "What The Hell" in 2011. She last appeared in 2018 when "Tell Me It's Over" made no.18, but this week gets her biggest hit in a decade as "Bite Me" enters at no.11. Chaka Khan's biggest hits on my chart were when she featured on De La Soul's 2000 hit "All Good" (no.6) and Tieks "Say A Prayer" in 2017 (no.4). This week she gets her biggest solo entry as "When The Time Comes" becomes the second hit from the soundtrack to Everybodys Talking About Jamie and enters at no.14.

The song "O Come All Ye Faithful" is a Christmas song as old as time, but does have an appearance on my chart, by Stacie Orrico, making no.25 in 2005. Now Jordan Smith gets a bigger hit with his first entry, "O Come (Let Us Adore)" at no.17. Benny Benassi topped my chart twice as part of Benassi Bros in 2005 and 2006 and has appeared on my chart consistently since 2003. His first entry of this year is "Let Me Go", also bringing another regular, Ne-Yo in for vocals and enters at no.25.

Topping my chart 7 times between 2004-2011, this week, Joss Stone returns with "Never Forget My Love" at no.28, her first appearance since "Walk With Me" made no.43 last year. Alan Walker peaked at no.7 with "Diamond Heart" in 2018, this week he scores a 7th entry with "World We Used To Know" at no.29, also giving Winona Oak a second entry. Carrie Underwood topped my chart on debut in 2005 with "Inside Your Heaven", though nothing from her Christmas album last year made my chart, this years festive release, "Stretchy Pants" does enter at no.30, giving her a first entry since "Love Wins" made no.7 in 2018.

Placebo had two top 10 hits on my chart, with "Every You Every Me" (no.4) in 1999 and "Because I Want You" (no.8) in 2006, now their first entry in 15 years, "Beautiful James" is new at no.34. Also this week, a second hit for Soda State, an 11th for Jessica Mauboy and inexplicably, a 6th for Rak-Su.

                                • Great highest new entry at #4, she has a few great tunes at this point but Puppet is probably the best of the lot so far.

I would normally adore Winona Oak at #29 but I skip this and play her vastly superior recent collaboration with Kito, Skin & Bones.

                                    1 Sigrid - Home To You (This Christmas) 1 2 4

In the same year that she picked up her first number one on my chart, "Mirror", Sigrid is back on top as "Home To You (This Christmas)" moves to the top and is the first festive chart topper since Jamie Cullum topped my chart with "Hang Your Lights" last year. Faouzia, Tracey De Sa and Myke Towers are all top 10 climbers at 3, 4 and 8. The highest new entry is the 18th hit for Adele, "Hold On" is in at no.4, her 6th top 5 hit, it's her highest position since "Skyfall" made no.3 way back in 2012. Emmy Meli is just behind getting her debut at no.6 with "I Am Woman".

Two other acts charting for the first time are Alex Parker and Ghetto Kids at no.16 and no.20, but both are collaborations with previous charting acts. "Home Alone (Macaulay Culkin)" at no.16 also gives Alexandra Stan her 9th hit and follows "Come Into my World" that made no.14 earlier in the year. "La Mano" at no.20 is also a 27th hit for Major Lazer, just 9 years after they first charted with "Get Free".

"Giving It Up" is the 8th entry for Redondo at no.25, they peaked with "Love Too Deep", a no.19 in 2014 and last appeared last year when "My Love" made no.20. It's also a second appearance for Reigns who was on "Wanna Show You", a no.38 for Low Steppa last year. John Legend peaked in 2008 when "Green Light" topped my chart, but has appeared more sporadically since his early days. His second appearance of the year is "You Deserve It All", which despite releasing a full festive album previously, is his first Christmas song to enter my chart as it does at no.26. His highest entry as lead artist since "Preach" made no.19 in 2019.

Bad Boy Chiller Crew made no.41 earlier this year with a version or Rozalla's "Free", they return with a bigger hit, "Messages" at no.34. Anton Powers topped my chart in 2017 with "Baby" and has reached my top 10 three other times. This week "Close" becomes his 11th entry at no.37 as it takes on "Too Close" by Next/Blue.

Finally thanks to a re-release with new tracks, the fourth entry from Jamie Cullum's "Pianoman At Christmas" album is "Sleigh Ride" at no.43. Which has previously charted for KT Tunstall and TLC.
