Totally in love with your number-one ;) - It's a shame that we're the only ones lettin' it chart on our lists.
I really don't get it why this wasn't the 2nd single. It deserves to be a hit for them! Personally, I think that it's her best single since "Angels"
Also, I love the fact that "Calm Before A Storm", "Whole World Is Watching", "Wrecking Ball" (you will be amazed of her after her concert!) & "Dark Horse" are still smashing!Mainshow Goes Diva: Kylie Minogue

Then, second, glad you love it. And that's true... but at least they're successful in our lists
Well, i'm actually glad it's at least a single. It was kinda obvious, but after they released three songs with a feature i was afraid they won't release "And We Run"... now they did and it totally floppedAnd that's a real shame, because, like you, i think it's amazing!
Glad you like them all - and yes, i'm going to see Miley this saturday, so "Wrecking Ball" won't come to an end soon and probably rise again
btw... as you missed it (and i guess you could like it): Britney's "Britney Jean" won the Mammy for Best Pop Vocal Album

week 23/2014 – 5 june 2014 Your Love down the West Coast
- Singles Top40
The Empress is back. Having the most certified album ever and being the only artist ever with more than one single that was certified with more than double platinum, Lana Del Rey truly slayed her competition with her second full-length record “Born To Die” and the singles from it two years ago. Now she’s finally back with her highly anticipated new album “Ultraviolence”, which will be released tomorrow in a week. Last Friday was the release day for the premier single “West Coast”, which debuts directly on top. It’s already her eighth chart single and eighth number one.
Lana pushed Within Temptation away and so “And We Run” slips 1-2. Rounding up the Top3 is Australian singer Sia, whose “Chandelier” is up 4-3 after the immense increase last week. Another hit maker gets the second new entry of the week. After a pretty long break, Nicole Scherzinger just released “Your Love” as a new single and debuts at #4. She previously got hit after hit, especially with her solo debut album “Killer Love” already three years ago. The longest number one single of the year so far – “Shatter Me” by Lindsey Stirling – is down 3-5 this week. Meanwhile, another australian act hits the Top10 as Iggy Azalea climbs 23-6 with “Fancy”, her first Top10 hit as a main act, but second overall (she’s featured on Ariana’s “Problem”). The song features Charli XCX who got a Top3 hit with Icona Pop’s “I Love It” last year.
Being released as a single just two days ago, the collaboration between Seven Lions and Kerli called “Worlds Apart” starts at #7 this week. It’s the first entry for the US DJ/producer Seven Lions while Kerli already got four #1 hits as a main act and six in total. Ariana Grande’s latest number one hit “Problem” stays stable at #8 and Lindsey Stirling’s “Beyond The Veil” is up 10-9. Closing the Top10 is already the fourth new entry this week as Shakira arrives with the third single of her self-titled album called “Dare (La La La)” at #10.
Within Temptation’s “Whole World Is Watching” (9-11), Sanna Nielsen’s “Undo” (5-12), Coldplay’s “Magic” (6-15), Emmelie de Forest’s “Rainmaker” (7-16) and Nicki Minaj’s “Pills N Potions” (2-22) all fall out of the Top10 this week, with the last one even falling out of the Top20 after the pretty big debut last week. Meanwhile, after falling out of the Top20 for the first time last week, Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire” is back up 22-14 this time. Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” has still to fall out of the upper half as it still stays stable at #20 in its 41st week. There’s a big chance to see it climbing again next week due to her concert this Saturday.
So “Undo” by Sanna Nielsen remains the only song from the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 inside the Top20. There are still some other entries, but all of them are loosing some places week by week. Hungarian singer András Kállay-Saunders is down 13-21 with his entry “Running”, winner Conchita Wurst falls 12-26 with “Rise Like A Phoenix”, “Same Heart” by Mei Finegold from Israel decreases 17-30 with dutch entry “Calm After The Storm” by The Common Linnets being the last entry (21-34).
Apart from the four new entries inside the Top10 there are four more new entries in the lower part of the charts. Mr Probz enters the charts with his big european hit “Waves” at #24. UK newcomer Sam Smith gets his first solo hit with “Money On My Mind” at #28. The last two entries are the #1-UK-hit “Summer” by Calvin Harris at #36 and the newest single by One Direction called “You & I” at #39.
Ellie Goulding celebrates the 30th week on the charts with “How Long Will I Love You” (34-37). It’s now her third longest charting single after “I Need Your Love” (44 weeks) and “Burn” (43 weeks).
Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” is the biggest climber while Nicki Minaj’s “Pills N Potions” is the biggest loser this week.

- Album Top20
New week, new number one album. While dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation got an unexpected sixth week on top for their sixth album “Hydra”, it’s someone else who takes the crown this time, but someone who makes more or less the same music like Within Temptation… it’s Tarja! The finnish singer and ex-frontwoman from symphonic metal band Nightwish released a new record called “Beauty & The Beat”. It’s a live album with US drummer Mike Terrana and contains some classical songs, some covers, some songs from Tarja’s solo work and even one completely new song called “Witch-Hunt”. With the debut on top it’s already Tarja’s fourth number one album in less than four years, and fifth entry overall. Her only album that didn’t peak on top is the solo debut “My Winter Storm”, but that was released a bit more than two years before the album charts started and peaked at #5 later due to her success with her other albums.
Within Temptation’s “Hydra” is down 1-2 while Lindsey Stirling closes the Top3 with “Shatter Me”, also down one place (2-3). Same goes to Anette Olzon, another ex frontwoman from Nightwish (Yes, they already fired two frontwomen!). Her solo debut “Shine” was released earlier this year and slips 3-4 this week. It’s charting for ten weeks now.
A second entry comes in at #5. UK newcomer Clean Bandit released their debut album called “New Eyes” last Friday and arrive at #5 on the charts. Coldplay’s “Ghost Stories” is down 5-6 in its third week, being surprisingly stable so far. The compilation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 leaves the Top5 for the first time since its debut (4-7) and Within Temptation’s “Mother Earth” is down 6-8. The last two records in the Top10 are Lily Allen’s “Sheezus”, which is up for the first time in its chartrun (10-9) and The Common Linnets self-titled debut album (7-10).
Seven Lions’ “Worlds Apart”-EP is up 16-11 due to the release of the title track. It’s likely to see it back in the Top10 next week. Meanwhile, Lindsey Stirling’s self-titled debut album (8-12) and Miley Cyrus’ “Bangerz” (9-13) fall out of the Top10, with the latter one also being likely to climb again due to her upcoming concert over here.
Due to the new single, Shakira’s own self-titled studio album “Shakira.” is back on the charts again, re-entering at #19.

- Airplay Top10
After having had a new number one last week, there’s already the next new song on top this week. The new chart leader is the same song like on the Singles Top40, means “West Coast” by Lana Del Rey makes a debut at #1 and got 90 plays over the last week. This is a good number indeed, but the first song with less than 100 plays since six weeks. “And We Run” by Within Temptation slips 1-2 this time, with 67 plays.
The second highest new entry rounds up the Top3. Australian singer Sia arrives with “Chandelier”, which also just reached the Top3 on the Singles Top40. “Your Love” by Nicole Scherzinger only got two plays less and enters at #4, so also the same position like on the Singles Top40. “Whole World Is Watching” by Within Temptation is down 3-5 with “Paradise (What About Us?)” falling 2-6.
Anette Olzon’s “Moving Away” falls 5-8 this week and is sandwiched between two songs by Lindsey Stirling, as “Shatter Me” is down 4-7 and “We Are Giants” is up 10-9. Closing the Top10 as the last song on the charts is Shakira’s “Dare (La La La)” which re-enters the charts at #10. It previously peaked at #2 as an album track.
Plays of the Top10 went down by 38 to 385 (-9.0%) compared to last week.

Well, MrDiva wrote a review for it about a month ago and I usually check out the songs people review so that's how I ended up hearing "The One". It's a good song, nothing outstanding, but good enough.
I just listened to the "All of Me" 'remix' featuring Lindsey and I really like it. Expectedly, I prefer it to the original. Although I think the song in its original form is fine, it is a bit 'dry' and Lindsey's violin-strumming provides that extra oomph the song needed. I also just listened to Nicole's "Your Love" and it is so basic. Some parts are catchy, though, so it's not a complete waste. I just feel Nicole's solo output is second-class to the material she put out as frontwoman to the PCD.
"West Coast" makes for a decent #1. Nothing Lana's put out so far this era has wowed me, which is disappointing considering how much I championed her during her Born to Die days. Good to see "Chandelier" so high - one of the best singles of the year so far - and woohoo for that massive climb for "Fancy". That song is such a grower!

It occurs to me that Jude does this too, changes who she is depending on who she’s with. They’re like toads changing their skin colour. How come I’m always just me?

A that's true, i read that one too. Great then
Glad you like it. But actually i'd say i prefer the original too, but it's nice to have that version too
Actually i think some of her solo songs are amazing
did you hear her solo debut album?
I still hope she amazes you with the full album
Also great you like "Chandelier" that much - it's definitely an amazing effort - and yes, "Fancy" grew on me so much in the last few weeks
